Add custom QR code to invoices sent from Xero

Purpose: Ease of entry - to scan and upload to your Xero org for auto creation of bills.

Hi everyone, we appreciate the interest for being able to add QR codes to invoices. 

While this is something we started looking into this is not something we're developing. 

To set the right expectation I'll shift this status to submitted and we can continue to track the interest here.

    I would like this feature so that customers can be given links to instruction videos when the purchase goods from us.

    I think it is very good enhancement to enable inclusion of QR codes on invoicing..it seems to me that the invoice template merely needs 1 field to allow the code similar to the logo field. Our use would be for quick payment access for a customer.

    It's super critical to have the QR code in our invoices, let us know when this would be ready, thanks! ,This is a mandatory feature for our KSA entity set up to be undertaken for XERO

    This is a mandatory feature for our KSA entity set up to be undertaken for Xero as book keeping has to start effective 01-11-2023 let us know the time frame else we have to move to other options available
    we already have 4 entities under xero and 5 th entity in KSA to be done asap.

    Failure to activate this service will result in me incurring large amounts of fines and financial violations to the state

    Because of your failure to meet all the requirements and needs of your customers

    If you do not activate this feature, I will resort to another accounting system and dispense with this

    Can I ask Why Not?

    I want there to be a QR code next to or below the existing link on a printed invoice.
    It says ‘Click here to Pay this invoices’ or similar. Why can’t a QR code be automatically generated for the same link? I mean, the link is already there. It just needs to be passed as a formatted QR code.
    This is so customers who receive PRINTED invoices with their delivery can simply scan the QR and pay it from the link in the QR code. Safe, secure, trusted ! Rather than me have to email it, them to check their email, and click on the same embedded link, to pay.
    And perfect for those first time customers who are on COD.
    Should be simple.
    MYOB and Quicken are able to do it!

    So, Why Not Xero ??

    can I include a QR code in the invoices with payment details such as Invoice No Date and Amount where I send to my customers? for them to scan and pay with Bank payment apps
    Please note ZOHO accounting app facilitate it

    All the banks are now providing payment apps for "Scan and pay" if we can dynamic QR generated from Xero with following details
    1.Cutomer Name
    2.Referece/Invoice No
    3.Amount
    We can ask customers to can and pay as all the necessary details it will automatically populate the "Bank app"
    This will ease the customer payment process
    I am here with attaching one of customers "Static QR Code" Provided by the bank.
