This will definitely help me. I somehow switch between companies sometimes without realising. So having it colour coded would be amazing.

Yes, after many years asking Xero to do this, I have used the chrome extension which is $4.99 a month, and it works great.
Its a pity Xero doesn't listen to us and we have to go out and pay extra for this feature which should be an easy job for them to do. -

Someone recommended a third party GOOGLE add on which I have downloaded @ a cost of $4.99/ month but can seem to make it work?

THIS NEEDS TO BE ACTIONED ASAP - I am currently bookkeeping for 6 venues under one main company & it's a nightmare, particularly with the Inter-company processing!!!!
Simple ask really in the scheme of things Hubdoc should also mirror this!!!

In the Organization switcher on the browser version, be able to display the Org logo - else at least set a colour or short name that is easily identifiable.
It seems like the colours used change at random, and with 4 companies that start with the same naming, it makes it tricky to switch easily.

I back this idea, I run two companies and would like to be able to assign a company color to the menu bar so I can tell them apart.
If this messes with Xero's corporate scheme, maybe a customisable logo somewhere would also work.
C'mon guys this is an easy fix... 👍

It would help tremendously for all of us with vision issues and partial sight loss

Maybe we'll get it if they add it as a new feature for an additional subscription ;D

This is my feeling exactly @Marc Allinson.
"It shows either that they don’t look at this forum, or that they have a total lack of regard to our experience once we are signed up."
Once we are signed up and they are getting our money for a product that doesn't live up to our expectations, they no longer care about us and focus on recruiting more unsuspecting customers. I tell everyone who asks, not to move to Xero and also have left reviews telling other people the same. It is definitely not what it once was.

Yes. It’s been asked for repeatedly, but ignored.
A small ask, that will make a huge difference to users. It shows either that they don’t look at this forum, or that they have a total lack of regard to our experience once we are signed up.

This idea has been suggested since April 2022 and still not implemented - changing a colour on the toolbar to reflect different companies/clients doesn't seem like a big ask - all in favour please vote and hopefully it might be actioned!

Still waiting on a solution for this issue. Thanks

Having different colours would make it so much easier to select the correct organisation, especially as I have organisations with similar names. Please, please, please implement this!

Chris Pratt commented
Please action this idea, it would be a simple thing that would help to reduce the risk of posting in the wrong company
-
Suellen Cooper commented
voting yes for this definately. too many business files that commence with similar names but now with duplicated colour identifiers it's inefficient to go through them to find the correct business entity

Nick Smithson commented
Significant benefits for users that would reduce frustration with the product quickly and easily

This would be a great feature and i would assume pretty easy to implement.
