This would be life changing. Xero lets us attach support to just about every transaction. It would be great if we could lock down a reconciliation and attach a pdf of the statement to which we reconciled. This is maybe the only thing that QBO does better than Xero.

This is a great idea and perhaps the only thing that QBO does better than Xero. Now that HubDoc will no longer pull statements from anywhere, it would be great to be able to "publish" a bank reconciliation once complete and attach a pdf of the statement. I'd be happy to attach the file. I'm nto talking about anything automated or fancy here.

Would you allow a facility for clients to upload a copy of their bank/loan statements as a pdf to confirm Xero reconciliation report balance against actual bank statement in the same screen.

Ideally the bank statements would automatically flow through as a supporting document in Xero workpapers.

I have been requested to provide a statement with the following:
2) Your IBAN / bank account number
3) The RIB / bank confirmation from your bank (if available)

All other banks like: Barclays, HSBC, Lloyds, Starling provide statements with this information. I have found an example online, it contains this information on the top right hand side.

At Xero there seems to be no option to download or request a statement containing this information. I have been informed in order to request for this information it needs to be voted for approval, which surprises me.

I am raising this as it should be something already added with the account

Ability to reconcile a bank account based on a pdf. This would be beneficial for our Australia Post Everyday Mastercard that does not covert to other formats.

To be able to attach to bank reconciliations at time of completing, would save time when accountant needs to check balances.

Auditors have view access and often require bank statements to confirm final balances. Would be a great feature.

This would be a great feature. You can attach documents almost everywhere else in Xero. This is just logical to allow attachments to the published Rec Report

I would like to see a attachment also show on the bank statement once reconciled. Currently when a Bill is set up with an attachment either through manual attachment / hubdoc / or email file to Xero once this Bill is reconciled the attachment doesn't show on the bank transaction

Would be useful and time saving if one could attached a PDF bank statement to the bank reconciliation.

The CFOs I work with often ask for this to be done and the Quality Assurance team at my firm also would like this - same as what Quickbooks offers.

It would be extremely helpful if, when reviewing bank reconciliations, I didn't have to go fetch the statement in a different program to ensure the bank reconciliation agreed

It would be nice to attach the actual bank reconciliation to the published bank rec so that you can see it actually balanced.

It would be beneficial to attach a pdf bank statement to a specific bank account. For example, once month is closed, I'd like to have a bank statement uploaded to a specific bank account instead of being uploaded into Files [so it would be nice to have that option under Reconcile / Import a Statement for each bank account.

It would be great to be able to attached the copy of the bank statement to the published report. Currently some clients put them in files but this is accessible by most users which is not good.

Could you upload the statement to the Files section in Xero (along with a copy of the Rec report run for the same period if necessary)?
