Thanks for your continued engagement and valuable feedback on this long-standing idea, everyone. We've been carefully reviewing your comments and want to acknowledge the clear sentiment of frustration regarding the current limitations around managing multiple addresses for contacts, particularly for invoicing and delivery purposes, and that this is a critical feature to many of you.

We want to share an update on our progress here - We're pleased to confirm that the foundational work for handling multiple addresses has been completed within the Contacts area of Xero. This was a crucial first step. Building on this, now that all customers are on the new invoicing experience our product team has moved into the discovery phase for adding multiple addresses directly within invoicing. This means they are actively exploring the best way to implement this functionality to meet your needs effectively.

We appreciate your patience as we work through the complexities…

How do I remove my name, and more specifically my email, from this idea? I have gotten every update for a few years now. I fully agree this is a basic requirement and I am baffled that it has created such a challenge for Xero to implement. However, the seemingly undending emails, the explanations of the importance, and the near silence Xero has become more than I can bear. It is not clear to me how to remove myself from this idea so that I stop getting all this spam in my inbox. I hope that's not another item for Xero's development plan.

Hey everyone, thanks for engaging with this idea about being able to attach PDF bank or credit card statements directly to reconciliation reports in Xero. We know this can help simplify the cross-check process.

Right now there is the ability to upload statements into the Files inbox where you could create a dedicated folder for these type of files. However we understand the limitation in that this doesn't link them to report as you'd like here.

Our product team are looking into possible ways to attach files within the banking space and how we might fit it into the reconciliation workflow. It’s early days, and we’ll share an update when there's more news.

This would be life changing. Xero lets us attach support to just about every transaction. It would be great if we could lock down a reconciliation and attach a pdf of the statement to which we reconciled. This is maybe the only thing that QBO does better than Xero.

This is a great idea and perhaps the only thing that QBO does better than Xero. Now that HubDoc will no longer pull statements from anywhere, it would be great to be able to "publish" a bank reconciliation once complete and attach a pdf of the statement. I'd be happy to attach the file. I'm nto talking about anything automated or fancy here.

What a great suggestion! If the workpapers specify the Xero Client and period, they TB should be automatically loaded when the workpaper is initially created. After creation of the workpapers, only manual updates should be allowed.

Workpapers would be so useful if they could match the client's reporting method/preference.

Hi community, we appreciate this idea has collected a fair amount of votes and commentary. This has all been feedback and taken seriously by our product teams.

Currently, there are ways to record a bad debt in Xero, depending on your tax registration status and how you want the transactions to be recorded in your reports - We have help for this on Xero Central you can draw into.

We don’t have any plans in the near term to expand functionality to develop a button to write off invoices or bills as 'bad debt'. If anything changes in this space, we’ll update you on this idea!
