Quote Summary & PO Number to carry through to project and invoice and invoice email
I'd like to have the ability to carry the estimate summary through to project and into the invoice.
Also I'd like the ability to attach the PO number to an estimate, carry it through to project (Searchable in reports) and automatically Carry through to the invoice.
This would help with automatically invoicing projects on a weekly/monthly basis.

I think you're missing the point. It's not just about linking Quotes to Invoices via project. It's actually more about the fact that Invoices don't have a Title and Summary as part of their schema. If they did, then when you convert a quote to an invoice, the quote's Summary and Title could carry through to the invoice, just as the line items do.
As a developer, I can tell you, It's really not a big change to add Title and Summary fields to the Invoice schema, api and forms.

Yes it's just weird that Quote has Title and Summary but Invoice doesn't. There's space for these on the layout – in the same place it appears for the Quote. It's a glaring lack.

I think this would be a great idea to be able to carry the original quote amount into the invoicing, and even show a balance owing after instalment invoices are paid. Having the system pre populate the original quote number as the reference and the Project name (not just the customer name) would be very useful instead of having to reenter the details. We have a customer who we have over 10 projects for and it can get quite confusing when preparing the invoice for them and us, as we have to make sure we have the right quote details as reference.

Title and Summary to carry over from quote to invoice needed.
To manually have to input this on an invoice completely changes the layout.
I tried the link below and it is only details about the quote side. -

Hi Jon, I'd like to get a better understanding of your idea here. Would you think that this article(https://central.xero.com/s/article/Create-a-quote-for-a-project) can achieve what you're after here?
Looking forward to hearing back from you.
