Desperately need this feature to avoid time wasted unnessesary while implement this feature can complete this job in a blink of an eye.

Yes - export, update and import would make updating pay items for new award rates so much easier.
Plus a report that will list all pay items with amounts would be a step in the right direction.

I believe this feature would be beneficial for all but especially for larger businesses and when transition from some other softwares.

Having to update approximately 52 pay items each year is time consuming. Please include a feature to export, update and then re-import the pay items.

It would be super beneficial for xero to be linked to Fairwork SA to pick up updated award rates every 1 July. It is extremely time consuming to update every single payroll member on an award rate each year!!

Agree with all the comments. 3 years is too long to sit on a good idea.

Bulk upload would assist greatly.

Hey Xero can you please add the export/import function for pay items? Users have been asking for it for 3 years...

It would be great if Xero worked towards enabling clients to import Fair Work pay guide templates into their payroll settings and that these also automatically update when there are changes made.

Not sure how this has not been done before as every year in July award pay rates are increased and it is very painful to update these pay codes line by line. We use the fitness industry award and have codes for 7 different levels for 3 types of work status and ages from 16 to adult. Thats hundreds of codes
Bulk uploads will be so much easier and quicker
We use another program that intergrates with Xero for our timesheets but we still need to have these pay items available when we need to make adjustments to pay rates on timesheets or fix errors. Manually entering these into Xero should have an option to upload in bulk

I totally support this concept. Apart from being a critical time saving feature for employers with a huge list of pay items, it would help negate the risk of data entry error.

Would love to have this functionality where pay award levels can be entered as a template and just allocated to an employee when they start. Then it's super east to update just one template with the current pay increases, rather than having to go into each individual template.

Has there been any update on being able to import the new pay rates from Fair work to the pay items yet?

This is critical for our business model as we deal with franchise operations, so the pay category data is identical for each new xero file we create.

This is a critical feature for us at the moment because we employ staff under Modern Awards. There are too many pay rates to have to enter one at a time every time there is an update to award rates (which is often)
