New invoicing - Display the item code

Display the item PRODUCT CODE (similar to the old invoicing) - we have a lot of similarly named products, so need to see the product code to differentiate.

    This is essential, how can you call it improving the system, when you are removing the basics that every business uses and requires!

    New Invoice Layout ability to see Items Codes once approved

    In the new invoice layout you cannot see the item codes once the invoice has been approved. This is a major issue and extremely time consuming when you need to see the item code that a customer previously purchased. Especially when a lot of item have very similar names.

    As we import our invoices from another system, we use the Item Code as a job number reference. Without this reference, we would have no idea which job the invoice relates to. We NEED this field please.

    I experimented further with the new "faster" invoicing system that is being foisted upon us and I have three issues with it:
    a) for the item code, I used to be able to type in PRO to get Process Serving, but now I have to manually scroll through the whole list to find the right one
    b) the Approve button is no longer at the foot of the page so I have to struggle to find the white on white slider to scroll up the page, and
    c) your default button is to Approve & Email. When I email my client on my own signature panel, which is a form of advertising, I send them a cover letter, the results of my work and the invoice. I will not be able to do that through Xero due to confidentiality issues. Instead, I have to click on another button, so I'm not saving time at all.
    THERE WAS NOTHING WRONG WITH THE EXISTING SYSTEM PLEASE LEAVE IT AS IT IS.

    Our company only uses product codes!!! Descriptions are more for the customers benefit.

    1) I type the product codes when creating an invoice. I cannot create an invoice without the product code.

    2) our dispatch team cannot pick/pack orders without the product codes showing on the delivery notes as they will not be able to find the bin locations.

    Without the product code, we can NEVER use the new invoicing.

    Very important to have product code field in the invoice.

    Yes I need the item code in awaiting payments added as well as the new invoicing view without it means I can't do my reports so have to use the old version.
