Invoicing - Remove 'Powered by Xero' in Footer of emails
Remove 'Powered by Xero' Advertisement on the footer invoice emails (only recently added)
Hi everyone, appreciate this topic has picked up momentum in the last couple of months since “Powered by Xero” was first introduced to our invoice emails.
Our product team have been working through the next iteration of the invoice email. They’ve reviewed feedback about this email from multiple sources and are planning some changes to address some of the concerns, in particular that the purpose of this feature is for marketing and advertising purposes. This feature was developed, designed and implemented will the sole intention of increasing trust with the invoice emails we generate inside the Xero platform. The data after delivering this has shown that it does just that, increasing engagement with your invoice emails and ultimately getting you, our customers, paid faster.
Therefore the “Powered by Xero” footer will remain in place, however we will be reducing its size, better integrating it into a redesigned email experience and removing the hyperlink to Xero.com.
This new email experience is focussed on uplifting our invoice experience to meet expectations from you and your customers to provide a professional, informative and modern experience. This new experience will be coming to New Invoicing first and then to our other invoicing tools like Reminders in the coming weeks.

Such a a huge distraction, i've already had people assuming it is a CTA button!
Worse still, another link and image to an external source lloks like spam. Its bad enough you wont allow emails to be sent though our own domain, now we have to 'Advertise" your business. And please don't charge a fee 'remove' it. -

It says it all:
"Enforcing free advertisement onto your clients without consent is unacceptable."
"I didn't agree to give free advertising for Xero. You can keep the logo in the emails if I can get 50% off the monthly subscription."
"Why has Xero added their advertising at the bottom of outbound emails? We are paying a subscription fee and do not want to be a walking billboard promoting software to our clients. Please Xero allow us to remove this unwanted branding"
💡 You should spend time developing features that matters to your existing customers instead. Retention vs Acquisition.

Hi Xero
I have updated my email footer -

Xero - I cannot understate how much this ****** me off. As per the comments below, it is completely unacceptable that my business emails carry the Xero logo.
The response I have received so far ... "this logo is added to provide reassurance to customers that the transactions are legitimate" is not believeable as any spammer one above 3 years old can copy paste Logo and link.
Please rectify immediately
Dear Xero
Further to above comment, I have modified our email correspondence with a modified footer as per the attached and below.
FYI - any links to Xero in this email are not endorsed or supported by Hose Protection Australia. We CANNOT control Xero putting their logo on our emails and we suggest you consider other accounting programs if you dont like what they have done.

Remove "Powered by Xero" from email footer immediately please.
We did not consent to this update to promote Xero which isn't free.
If you want to keep it then provide a minimum of 50% discount on our subscription. -
