New Invoicing - Show invoice number on tab
The new invoicing system no longer shows the invoice number on the tab. It's handy when going between programs to use the said invoice number

Appreciate you all staying tuned into the idea with us here, everyone. We've made a recent update where you can now see the invoice number in the browser tab when viewing an invoice with new invoicing.

I agree with Glen: Very annoying to be constantly told these things are new ideas, when in fact it's functionality Xero has dropped from the product all the while forcing us to use the new forms that are incomplete.
The users are being used to test functionality that's worse than the previous version. Do better, Xero. -

It's all about new sales revenue, no care taken to look after existing customers and keep important functionality. Maybe no one at Xero has used the product in the real world, and experienced having 10 tabs open in the browser with no idea what's on what tab. I'll help with the code if you're developers don't have a spare 5 minutes to make the fix. Well done Xero, another disappointment in the new and exciting forms.

Yes, I use this option all the time, now you have to flick between screens, to check the invoice number. I often have several invices screens open, so this feature was really handy, I could just hover over the tab.
Just give the customers the options to continue using the classic invoicing system, from all the comments I've been reading, this is what they want!
I find the new system more time consuming and a lot of the brilliant features are being taken away.
