  1. There doesn't seem to be an option to delete the due date on sales invoices, my client doesn't want this to show on their sales invoices so it would be really useful if this could just be excluded

  6. It would be great if in Xero Blue you could see from the contact profile that they have a credit instead of money owed $0.00.

    It would also be helpful if when creating and invoice or before sending the invoice if a pop up appeared advising the client has credit and asking if you would like to use it.

    Also having the ability to transfer credit between groups/entities would be helpful. At the moment if someone has a credit note against one entity we need to reverse the credit note and reprocess it under the entity you want to credit.

    Thanks for your feedback here. Currently when you create a credit note/overpayment the balance is reflected in the contacts record. This shows as a negative value in the list of the customer's invoices.

    With new invoicing, if you create an invoice for a contact that has outstanding credit, you'll be asked if you'd like to allocate this credit once the invoice has been approved. You'll also see the available credit and option to apply each time you view an approved invoice. 

    While it's not possible to allocate credit from one contact to another you could edit an existing credit note to change the contact without having to recreate it from scratch. 

  7. When the invoice has been approved and need to be emailed, the side by side view is great but I would like to see the invoice amount ex VAT, not the total of the invoice and it would be good to see all the body of the invoice as well, not just saying there are more items, you cant even click on it to see

  8. The new feature sets the discount column to numeric value by standard. My business uses % and it's incredibly tedious having to type % each time. We can do 10-20 quotes a day with an average of 30 products per quote. So a feature that would allow us to click a button to default to percentage, so when you type a number the % appears (like in old Xero).

    Hi everyone, we appreciate the interest his idea has received. Introducing the ability to add a discount amount was highly requested by our community. We recognise for customers that discount by % this means you'll need to enter a % symbol where y ou wouldn't have done so before.

    With quite a few items drawing our teams attention at present we want to be upfront that developing a default option for discounts isn't in the pipeline atm. This is something we'll keep reviewing and consider as a future improvement in this space. If there is any change or progress around this I'll let you know on the idea, here.

  9. In the list view of "bills awaiting approval" it would be really helpful to have an option to display a column with the account the bill has been assigned to, and the VAT; this is the two items I need to check before approving bills and being able to just tick and approve most would save so much time.

  10. It is possible to look at a list of transactions for each item in the Sales by Item report. However, it is not possible to edit the layout to add custiomer location and therefore not possible to create a report showing both customer location and item(s) purchased.

    That would be helpful, as it would show geographic market *********** by item type.

  11. Have the ability to rename the PDF file attachment so when you update your system to send Estimates you can rename the PDF as they always get sent as quote and this is unable to be changed or you can have the PDF file name anything you like just having the option would be nice

  12. Find and Recode - Contact Groups: I have a need for recoding transactions to add or correct tracking categories based on contact groups. We need to provide summary and filtered reporting based on tracking categories which we cannot efficiently find without the contact group. Please add contact groups to find and recode.

  13. Would love to see the option to assign an expense approver to multiple expense submitters or even an 'Approvalmax' approver matrix function added to Xero Expenses. Currently using Xero Expenses to administer over 100 employees expenses and need stronger controls than central finance approving all. Happy to help design/ test!

    Hi everyone, we appreciate the number of users that'd like to see more mechanisms to assign and control who approves specific employee's claims.

    Our product teams have a close eye on this idea, and while this feature is not in the roadmap atm, they'll keep reviewing this as they continue to plan and prioritise work for Expenses. So, if there us any shift in status we'll share an update to keep you all informed on the idea, here.

  14. Currently, to invoice from a quote = a standard invoice. There needs to be an option to create an repeating invoice also. This is consistent with the request to change a standard invoice into a repeating invoice also.

  15. Allow charities to add an option for customers to make a voluntary donation when paying their invoice.

  17. When a credit note is approved, the next page that pops up is the Allocate Credit Balance screen. This screen does not state who the customer/supplier is, and when creating multiple credits, it can be hard to recall who each one is to. It would be great to have the Allocate Credit Balance screen displaying the contact of the credit (the reference would also be great, but I have already voted for that one separately).

    With the new invoicing re-vamp this would be a great opportunity to increase the information on the Allocate Credit Balance screen too.

    Hi Claire, you can add an expected payment date from the Awaiting payments list in Sales. Appreciate it's not quite possible from the individual invoice itself atm so have slightly updated the title of your idea here. If there's any plans of adding this here we'll let you know.

  20. It would be nice if when converting a quote to an invoice that Xero would be able to recognize tax status of customer, and would automatically bring up delivery address.
