Contacts - View recent invoices > report to be filtered by contactWhen you go into a customer and click View recent invoices report, currently it shows a list of all their previous invoices, which is clear and easy to read. When you click on the new report version it shows a list of approved sent and paid invoices for all customers, but only for the current month. This is totally useless as you then have to filter it to the customer, and change the date back far enough to show all the invoices. Can you please change this so it is the same as the old report. 14 votes

Fixed Asset register - Cost limit for fixed assets fully depreciated at purchaseAbility to choose a cost limit for a fixed asset when the depreciation method is set to 'Full Depreciation at Purchase'. For instance a car is purchased for over the cost limit, therefore only $64k or so is able to be written off immediately with the balance to sit as an undepreciable amount. Currently the full depreciation at purchase method writes off the whole amount, and diminishing value at 100% with a cost limit will still pro-rata the depreciation for the year and not write off the full cost limit amount. 35 votes

New invoicing - Change the colour of the 3 dot menu buttonThe latest glitch is that while using the edit function, something triggers the new invoicing to think that an amount has been added to a quantity or price box in one of the lines, presumably one that is being used as just a text line, and there is no way of knowing which box has been triggered so that you might know what you need to clear as nothing is flagged by the software. This also highlights that you don't have a cancel button making it harder to discard all those edits you have wasted entering making it harder to start over... This is compounded by the fact you're clicking the update button in the top right-hand corner, and the error message appears in the bottom left-hand corner briefly, all well & good if you're using a tablet or phone but not good if you're using a full-screen desktop monitor as it doesn't show in the same eye line so would be best if the error message appeared under the update button. While I'm making this new complaint I might also complain about the fact that the 3 dot button to access the edit button could be using the blue colour for the 3 dots to make it easier to spot as the pale grey doesn't show up against the larger blue payment or update & drop-down menu buttons before it. Why not 3 white dots on a blue background? We're continuing to develop this for all customers so your inputs are valuable. With your first point around the description only line - my recent update on the related idea here may explain the behaviour you're noticing. If you're selecting a saved item to enter description only lines there is a change to how this works between the old and new version and it's not possible to use items as description only atm. We're monitoring this so please do add your vote to the idea there is you feel this applies to your situation. It's best for us to keep one idea per thread so I'll adjust the title of your post here to match your second point on the colouring of the menu button and we can get a gauge of the interest around this too.

Hubdoc APP - Ability to view notes added to documents.Can we please have the ability to see if a note has been added to a document when you are in the Hubdoc APP without having to go into a document. Contacts - Add IBAN in account number and Swift in Routing numberThere is an issue with the new contact edit settings, we cannot add IBAN in account number and swift in routing numberFinancial details. Since we have vendors globally, not everyone have US routing and acct number only. Right now, depending on the country selected when setting up organisations will have different field options - Sort code in UK, BSB code in AU and Routing number in US. This explains the differences some in the conversation have mentioned. I appreciate it's not a solution but for the time being any extra detail (IBAN or any other banking detail) for the contact could be added as a note to the contacts record that can be looked up before making payments. For our UK customers that have set up international bill payments - Though not direct from Contacts you can edit and save international payment details for a supplier through the flow of making foreign currency payments. Within the contacts space in Xero, this is very much a piece of work we intend build a solution for, and while I can't give any timeframes as yet we'll share any progression with you all here. Statement - Include invoice descriptionAbility to have the invoice description on statements sent to customers. 62 votesThanks for your feedback on the thread. Though not useful for all, we did bring attention to the reports that could help some people in the forums here. We'll continue to consider this and other ideas for customer statements as the platform evolves. Again not a full resolve but another option that could be handy for some is the inclusion of the Outstanding bills link when sending individual invoices to your customers. Through this, persons of a contact will be able to view and get detail of the invoices they have outstanding with you at any given time.

Bill Payments - Use supplier's unique ID as the "Details" reference for Crezco paymentsWhen paying bills using Crezco use the "Details" field from the Supplier Contact / Finance as the payment reference. 
 For instance if a supplier has given us a unique ID on there system as "DME002" use this reference in the payment field when doing Crezco payments.
 FYI. It used to be this way with Wise payments? but has now changed as we move over to Crezco?3 votes

Contacts - Cater for direct credit detailsThe same way a direct debit file is created for Creditors, it would be great if Xero could create a direct credit file for Debtors. We direct credit over 200 debtor accounts weekly. As Xero isnt able, we do it externally and use a bank template. If Xero can creatre a direct debit file, I dont see why it cant create a direct credit file. The only change is the bank ID. Our previous clunky software could do it and banks are able to upload a direct credit file. 3 votes

AU Payroll - Set Payment Date for Unscheduled pay runUnscheduled pay run - most of my unscheduled pay runs are paid on the day of creation. 
 It would be good to be able to change the payment date to the actual date of payment instead of the date selected by the unscheduled pay run.E.g. unscheduled pay run for the week ending 13th Aug has a payment date of 16th Aug yet payment may have been made on 18th Sep. 4 votes

Bank Reconciliation - Restore duplicate statement line from exception reportI have a client whose workers use toll gates daily, often returning on the same day. Xero sees this as a duplicate expense and delete the second transaction. 
 It would help if Xero can create a report showing these duplicates and giving the option to pull them into the bank.2 votesHi Mariaan, while not possible to restore the statement lines from the report, you can run the Statement Exceptions report which shows deleted or duplicated statement lines.

AU Payroll - Employer ExpensesPLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE add an option to Payroll that allows employer expenses to be processed. The Union our company is a member of insists we pay as an employer expense into a redundancy program and also an income protection program for each employee. The Union demands that the payments are detailed on each employees payslip. We can only do this if we have an employer expense option. One of my clients in the United Kingdom uses the UK version of XERO and their version allows for this. Come on Australia, catch up!!! 3 votes

Login - Use backup email or phone for confirmation of suspicious loginyou should be able to confirm your account with a secondary email. I got locked out of my primary email, and Xero thought my normal log in was suspicious. I had not way to confirm my account. I have a secondary email. Xero Me | Expenses - Add stops for Mileage ReimbursementAdd the ability to add stops to mileage reimbursement. This way a person can add a round trip or add stops between the round trip to collect all mileage for the 1 trip. 16 votesThanks for the idea and adding your interest here, everyone. In lieu of a direct feature to accommodate this atm, you may find duplicating the claim to record each part of a trip useful in cutting down the data entry. Dashboard | Account Watchlist - Change the orderOn the dashboard, be able to reorder the accounts in the watchlist. Projects - Visual Dashboard for Projects overview and at a glance reviewXERO Projects could do with a massive update! Similar to the main dashboard XERO Projects could also do with a dashboard where you can see a quick overview of what is due in the coming weeks, what is overdue, what is assigned to me, or what is assigned to staff I manage. What projects are in draft status and what projects are 'in progress'. Projects with amounts that need to be invoiced and projects where allocated hours to tasks have been exceeded or amounts allocated to estimated expenses have exceeded. In other words a dashboard that gives a nice visual that shows where all your projects are at and anything alarming is right there to see. Maybe a calendar view of projects, which could be clinked on to expand to see more dates/days. Or a Gantt Chart view of projects. Just more ways to view where all the projects are at in a short amount of time. Not just one big long list to look through. XERO Projects could do with a massive update! Invoice Settings - Separate Number Sequence for Credit NoteCurrently, in the Automatic Sequencing setting, the invoice & credit note share the same number sequence. However, for tracking purpose, we prefer to have a separate number sequence for credit notes. Therefore, would like to request an additional 'Next Number' field for credit note, which can come with an option to share or not to share the number sequence with invoice. 36 votes
