  4. Can the tracking category be "text wrapped" so that the full description can be seen? I often have to click edit to see the full description of the tracking category which takes takes time.
    - see image attached... The account description has 3 lines, please could the tracking category also have space to see full description.

  5. In Canada, 'Make Payment' button is not available in 'Bills'. It would be nice to make payment directly from the Bills instead making payment from the bank.

  6. On Xero bills, as well as being able to filter and search for purchase invoices by contact or invoice reference, being able to search by a nominal code would be helpful. For example, making a payment run for all of one type of cost; finding any invoices that have not been allocated properly or for finding amounts that need to be included in management accounts.

  7. Expenses - I want to be able to give an employee the ability to submit on another's behalf but not to be able to approve them or see everyone else's expenses e.g. Executive PA should only be able to submit her the Executive and not have the option to approve or see another employee's expenses.

  8. We have multiple stripe accounts that we need to connect. It would be great to be able to add more than one strip payment processor that connects to two separate stripe IDs.

  9. Add the ability for Managers to approve bank account details for contacts. Ie the Bookkeeper can enter in & change the suppliers bank account details in Xero, but the manager can then go an approve it.

  10. When exporting the profit and loss transactions it would be amazing for one of the columns to show the Contact in isolation rather than merging the contact and description into one field. This would allow much easier spreadsheet analysis by contact.

  11. The print date that now appears at the bottom of reports is useful for some reports and circumstances, and I understand this date is now turned off for Published Reports.

    However we do not 'publish' our financial statements - we send our financial statements to clients in a practical and informative pack instead. This is a more efficient, professional and streamlined approach for us.

  13. Invoice Settings - Branding Themes - Prepayment title

    Why can't we alter what shows on a prepayment? We have several customers who mistakenly pay us twice for invoices, this is made worse when we send them the prepayments (of the double payments) which say "Tax Invoice" suggesting this is money owing to us. Why can't we change the title to "Credit Note" or similar, so that our customers know that they've overpaid without us needing to manually contact each customer.

  14. Timesheets - aside from just having an employee enter hours worked against each, it would be good to have a customizable timesheet that other fields could be recorded against the day that are not hours driven. For example - for one day have the employee enter 5hrs of time worked but also another field for a quantity driver - eg; enter quantity of 3. We have one client with a large number of employees that are remunerated via an hourly rate plus a quantity driver.   15. I would like to be able to hide accounts on the Fixed Asset reconciliation report so that I don't have a page full of Fixed Assets accounts that have no assets attached, and haven't been used for years.

  17. Not a new product idea by any means, just a request to put the GST return back the way it was before the update. So far with the new update, we can no longer see the late claims on a separate tab, we cannot publish the final return in Xero and now we can not be in two different entities at once even if we are incognito mode or in a different web browser.

  18. Enhance the Duplicate Bill Review screen by enabling direct click-through access to individual bills.

    When reviewing potential duplicate bills, it would be helpful to click on any listed bill to open and inspect it directly. This allows users to quickly identify and resolve issues—such as an incorrect reference number—without having to search via another screen. After making corrections, users should be able to refresh the Duplicate Bill Review screen to confirm whether the duplicate warning has been cleared.

  19. Ability to see Header rows and side columns on all screens when scrolling

    As per Microsoft Office where the top and side ribbons remains static.
    e.g. When you're in the Dashboard and scroll down it would be good if the top ribbon is static. It makes it easier to select another item (business; accounting; contact etc) without having to scroll up.

    The same with Bill Payments; Invoicing; reports etc where the top ribbon and column headers - see attached - would remain static as you scroll down the list.

    The same as when you might have a lot of columns…
