  1. Accepted Quote Report

    Great to see that we can now look at a report for accepted quotes but the report is not filterable by the accepted date - please can this be added to the date search for quote reports within Quotes through Receivable Invoice Details and Summary reports.
    At the moment the report isn't right as you can only search by due date and created date which is no good - the accepted date needs to be a searchable date or the quote filtered by accepted quotes is useless if you ant to see what quotes have been accepted…

  2. When doing a search on a bank account for a payment made the search does not include the individual payments which make up a batch payment. So if a payment was made as part of a batch then unless you know the date the payment was made or the name of the supplier it was made to then the search function will not find the payment you are looking for.

  3. Xero is giving 4 months free of Analytics Plus if the file is upgraded before 30 June 2023.

    It would be AWESOME if you would add Analytics Plus to the Demo Company so we could demonstrate the product to team members and to clients.

    Expenses is available in the Demo Company, so is Projects, why not Hubdoc and Analytics Plus?

    Please make the Demo Company have the FULL suite of Xero products available.

  4. The PayPal data feed imports dates from UTC, as is.

    For example in Australia there is a fairly large window each day where transactions will be imported and appear to have occurred the day prior. For other timezones it's likely the opposite.

    In my eyes this is an outright bug/lazy coding. The response I received from support tells me they are aware of the problem, but it's just a known quirk! They suggested adding a manual adjustment to fix the balance when required. Ugh, I would feel dirty doing that, lol.

  5. Staff members gets pay reviews each year, which means their cost change. But we are unable to get the change to commence from a certain date so reporting for prior year projects won't be accurate. any way we can put a change commencement date so reporting is more accurate?

  6. We have dealt with a few VAT inspections recently and HMRC request all invoices in relation to the VAT report. We have had to download each invoice individually and rename to match the references posted on Xero which has been extremely time consuming. It would be great if all invoices could be downloaded in bulk as per each VAT report and each invoice referenced to match the VAT report.

  7. When I add a Task to a project I would like to add a Task Title trhen have a seperate section to Describe the task detail. At the moment there is insufficient space for this information.

The online invoice sent to customer (not the PDF) and invoice in Xero only show the Item description and not the Item name or Code, this is not right as it means if we add personal details to the item on the invoice it isn't possible to tell what the item is without doubling up the Name in the Item description

  10. Could you please look at making the e-invoicing toggle button as default.
    This will allow the invoices raised in Xero Practice Manager to be sent to Xero and then sent in Bulk (email multiple clients from awaiting payment) rather than selecting it manually. This will save a lot of time and also allow the other side to receive the invoice in their system.
    Currently what it is doing is getting us to go into the invoice and then manually toggle this for clients we know are setup for e-invoicing. If this is handle automatically it will achieve its true purpose.

  11. Set up leave so that it automatically tops up at the start of the year with a set amount.
    I have an employee that has an arrangement of xhours per years to be used as they wish. At the start of each year this reverts back to the agreed hours. Any hours not taken during the previous year is cleared.

  12. When reconciling bank transactions,
    It would be great if payroll transactions offered an automatic reconciliation in the same way that a batch payment of bills gives an auto option.

  13. Until this month, this was not an issue. However this month Xero has taken away the ability to send the superannuation SMS authorisation code to international numbers. What happens when you change a number or move overseas but still work for the company. Why take this away? Without discussion with your customers. If it's not broken, why is Xero trying to fix it?

  14. To quickly get to your most recently reconciled transaction/s (to quickly correct errors that you see as you press OK while reconciling), click the search bar and have the most recently reconciled transactions linked there ready to go.
    Instead of having to go through the bank statement or account transactions and then locate the transaction that needs updating

  15. I have a number of Telstra accounts that all come due within a day of each other. Xero can't tell the difference between the rules. I was thinking that when doing reconciliations, where it has the drop down tab "Options" if you could add "Choose a Bank Rule" it would save me having to ignore the wrong rule chosen by Xero and and manually have to fill in the data for the relevant Telstra Account when it comes in.

  16. I want to track certain yearly expenses. I wish to put a limit to the expenses. When they reach the limit,I wish Xero can alert me. Eg Setting a limit on staff benefit per employee as $1,000. Once $1,000 is reached, a message can be sent to me.

  17. It'll be good to be able to submit leave requests for the next year without affecting the current year's balance.

    Towards the end of the year for the holiday allowance, employees start to plan their time off for the next year.

    It'll be good for the system to recognise that the leave request is for the next year and only deduct off the balance once the new year starts and the balance is reset.

  19. i recently got a new phone and all its photos are saved as HEIC format however everytime i forward this type of image to xero for bill forwarding it fails as xero doesn't recognise the format.

    can you please update file formats asap as all newer mobile devices are moving to HEIC as it is a higher quality file and a smaller size overall, and samsung i found out do not offer an auto change of file before forwarding so it will not be easy to convert back to a jpg or png etc. before sending receipts to Xero

  20. Show mandate status and progress: In Sage one of the Customer fields is their mandate status. You can see when the mandate was sent, whether it has been submitted, is being processed, is now active or has been cancelled. These are crucial for us. We are finding it very hard to get even a couple of mandates set up due to the way that first invoices are processed (on their invoice date rather than as soon after as practical).
