  1. The Profit and loss report: Compare tracking are amazing, but still needs the following:
    1 - To be able to edit the heading/remove the dates from the heading (as this is all reading showing on the top of the report, and can be very cluttering if every heading is starting with 1 June - 7 June 2022 ....)
    2 - in the old P&L: compare reports, the columns/tracking that was not applicable "disappeared", with the new reports, I'm seeing ALL my tracking that is available, and not only the ones applicable, please do the same for the new reports

  4. I was preparing ACT Leave return and wanted to get the report on annual leave loading payment to the employees. This is required as the annual leave loading is not part of wages definition for the ACT Leave Levy purposes. However, there is no such report available in xero payroll. Infact, it's an earning for an employee and should pop up separately somewhere in the payroll reports eg. as a pay item. I would request the product team to have a look in to this and make it possible to get the annual leave payment, sick leave payment and leave…

  5. I would like to put fixed asset categories (plant and machinery, motor vehicles etc) as the columns, and have Cost, Depreciation, NBV - bfwds and cfwds etc in the rows underneath. See attached.

    As far as I was aware it was standard to have the fixed asset note in this format so was surprised this was not already a functionality,

  7. Xero Project Module

    we are currently using Xero Project module.
    the duration of each project is around 3 years.

    I need to have an interface that allows me to input the sales invoices issued, purchases & expenses related to this project in the last 2 Financial years.

    I need to track the profitability of this particular project that will be a duration of over 3 years

  8. As with the financial side in Xero and their history and notes section, it would be very useful to be able to track who has approved leave or timesheets in Xero Payroll. We need site on which manager has approved the leave application or timesheet to mitigate any risk of the wrong people approving these.

  9. Put a green border around the discuss box (in the dashboard reconcile tab) if there is a potential matched docket from queries so you don't have to click to the match button for every item to see if the ones you have processed were a match.

  10. Search by Employee across all of Payroll reports. We have 110 - 120 staff, currently we have to scroll down to find the right employee, can we have a standards search by employee. ie/ start typing their name and then hit enter

    Hi Belinda, to check in on your idea here are you looking for similar to the Pay History report that allows you to search the employee versus drop down and select as you do in the Leave Transactions report? 

  11. Xero Projects - Needs Total Estimated Hours & Total Actual Hours (for Tasks) at top of Project. We quote projects based on hours and $ for each task. We would like to be able to easily see 'total hours' at the top of the screen for the project, and then total hours used, so we can see how many hours we have left to go on the Project (helps us to keep worked hours in check).   12. Can you colour code each row in the "Sales Overview > Invoices" based on "status" so that paid invoice listings are "green", waiting payment are "orange" and overdue are perhaps "red"? At the moment the "Sent" column is the only colour coded column which shows "green" whether the invoice is just "sent" or "viewed" which doesn't make it easy to know which invoice to chase for payment.

  13. Would be fantastic if when a fixed asset purchase is recorded and a document is included with the transaction, this document is also recorded in the draft fixed asset window. This would help as reference when moving the asset from draft to registered.

  14. Have the ability to create Manual Repeat Journals for older date ranges (3 years ago). The current restrictions on this should be allowed once a Lock Date is implemented.

    Otherwise you get an error like:
    The Next Journal Date entered is prior to the start of your previous financial year.

    This is very fustrating.

  15. Contacts. I would like to say the upgraded version of contacts is clunky, and would prefer the older system over this 'new upgraded' system. Having to 'save and exit' before adding all other contact details is adding more steps to an otherwise simple process. Thanks

    Hi Vashte, appreciate change can take a little getting used to.

    However, we can help you out here! While the Save and exit is always available when adding or editing a contact you can simply click through each section. 

    The detail you enter between section will hold until you leave the page - So, you can enter in all your details before selecting Save and exit.

  17. It would be good if ''xero bills'' would send a failed upload notification message back to the email that it was sent from if the upload had failed. This would mean that you would know what upload had failed and issue that caused it to fail.

  18. On the find and match screen, can we have the ability to expand the size of the window showing the list of transactions, so we spend less time on scrolling. The find and match shows 50 invoices at a time, but you have to scroll to see them.

    Hi Neilin, I know you've mentioned customising the template, however from the sounds you'd like to change the behaviour of how items within a customer statement is represented?


    If so it'd be good to understand more of the reason of why you're wanting to show overpayments as a positive? 

    If a customer has paid more than expected amount this amount is then a credit on their record and in turn draws down the total amount owed. 

    Alternatively you may want to be looking at recording as a prepayment?
