  3. There are client level fields for phone and fax numbers. We have not had a fax machine in the office for a number of years. and it would be more useful to have these fields nominated as landline and mobile numbers. Consideration would have to be given to how this meshes into FYIDocs and FuseSign as FuseSign has issues if the phone number field does not meet its defined parameters.

  4. It's great that there is now the option to finalise and create a bill on a BAS...however that is not the default choice for Tax & BAS Agents so it would be nice if the big button was to FINALISE the BAS and the small button with the option to create the bill. Leave it as default in the linked to ATO BAS (lodge and create bill) but for BAS that aren't being lodged in Xero directly it's not helpful.

  5. Losses carried forward have to be manually entered into XPM tax each year. It would be great if the information flowed through automatically from the tax return so that all we have to do is confirm it matches the IRD assessment. At a minimum it would be great if the losses to carry forward figure from 2023 automatically rolled forward to 2024 once it has been confirmed.

    Thanks so much for your continued feedback and for casting your votes for automating losses carried forward in Xero Tax NZ. We genuinely appreciate you highlighting the challenges you face with the current process, and understand that manually re-entering these figures is a significant pain point for many of you. 

    I wanted to let you know that this idea is currently In discovery - Meaning our product team is actively researching and exploring the best ways to address the need for automated loss carry-forwards, including how different loss types behave and how to ensure a seamless flow of data within Xero Tax.

    We'll be sure to provide another update as soon as we have more information to share on our progress.🙂

  6. Partner Status - recently we handed over some Xero subscriptions to our clients to pay directly. Instead of gaining extra points for our Xero status, our points have gone down. I'd like to be able to see under each partner points section a dropdown menu of the client names and points per client. This will also help me keep on top of our Xero recharges in case a client moves from one tier to another.

  7. Some supplier invoices don't have a currency on them eg USD and Hubdoc enters the base currency of the organisation eg NZD - if you could assign a currency to a supplier, it would avoid having to manually change the currency on each invoice

  8. It would be great is XPM could have the ability to have multiple timers open / useable at once, so I can stop, start and resume between tasks as you pick up / put down. This was a great feature of MYOB AE.

  9. Force Hubdoc to move documents into review. Often there is a document that has failed, and despite the price, supplier, date, etc, all being clearly visible in the document, it still fails. After filling in all the details I would like a way to 'force' it into review so I can leave it ready in the list to look at. Either this or give a valid reason why it has failed. Often almost identical documents fail or go into review for no reason

    Thanks for your support in this idea, everyone. While this isn't in our plans atm we're continuing to review the ideas from the forums here.

    We'll keep a gauge on the interest for SA102M Ministers of Religion and let you know if there are any updates for this, here.

  13. When working with multiple clients and applications, users are being logged out too quickly. Please consider adding a feature to allow console owners to adjust this time out at the console level for the entire organization.

  14. jobs -- can u make all row more compact - can u make columns more compact or allow user to narrow or widen column size - can u also allow job number column select Yes/No at column selection option - can u allow job report to export to excel/pdf - there are many external application having much better jobs management features - can u take some info from there ???

  15. Keep the Xero Classic Look everyone preferred.

    The design of the Job Manager page is sadly reminiscent of an excel spreadsheet.

    One of the enjoyments of the Xero software compared to its competitors are the fresh, clean pages that make it inviting to use. The Job Manager board is missing the 'attractiveness' that has been part of Xero's signature branding.

    Specifically black text, flat checkboxes, grey cell borders and grey column headers makes it feel like an outdated 1990s program.

  16. As 'Blue Xero' supports a 'Not for Profit' organisation, it disappointing that an accompanying

  17. Imagine that the worst has happened and the entire board of directors were eaten by sharks on the first day after the year end.

    Currently Xero Tax pulls the list of Directors from Companies House for the year in question, so
    while new directors could be appointed, none of them would be selectable to sign the Director's Report or Balance Sheet in Xero Tax. On the other hand we would be able to select Directors to sign the accounts who in this hypothetical situation were busy being fish food.

    Thanks for raising this, please do look out for the sharks! Atm, Xero Tax pulls the information at the date the filing is created so providing they're directors at that date, they should be included in the company information we receive back.

    This'll include all active directors, whether they're appointed in the year of afterwards.

    However, we're planning to improve this to offer more flexibility around the Directors information, including improving the format of the names themselves. We'll be in touch when we have more detail to share.

  18. A contrast function for Hubdoc. Often mobile phone scanned receipts do not have enough contrast and apart from the crop function which is being discussed a contrast function would improve usability.

  19. The ability to see the history of an item's selling pricing within the Invoicing screen would be extremely helpful. Sales staff would be able to quickly access the selling price history of items within the Invoice screen to ensure that the latest price is used on invoices.

    The ability to see this history within the invoice screen will also remove the need to access a separate report in Xero to view the history of inventory item sales price, which will save a lot of time.

  20. Can you please add the GST filing frequency as a field to filter on when creating or building reports relating to GST.

    This is currently not an option to enter when adding a new client, would be great if you could though.
