  1. In XPM jobs, have the option to view all timesheet narration and time spent in the financial tab. Currently, it only shows the task and time time/cost, but not the narrations. Previous Xero product WorkflowMax had the ability to show all timesheet narration of a job in the financial tab without clicking into the Billing Work Sheet. See attachment 1 for an example.

  2. AUDIT CHECK FOR DIVIDENDS RWT AND IMPUTATION CREDITS IS TOO SENSITIVE - IT IS PICKING UP VERY SMALL ROUNDING AND ALERTING.
    Xero needs to allow for the "rounding" to be accepted - maybe expand the parameters. Unless we go into the return and round it up or down (which is a terrible waste of time) then the alert stays there, and we then get the scenario of anybody looking at the return wondering if there is an error and then they go and check - once again - a terrible waste of time.

  4. We wish to undertake analysis by looking for the data contained in the "TIME PRODUCTIVITY - % Billable v Non-Billable Time - Staff Summary" report on a monthly basis in a tabular format.
    Unfortunately even though this report is called a "Table Report", XPM does not allow for the year to date date range to be entered but then have the data populate in the report on a monthly basis. Such a feature would greatly enhance a practice's capability of keeping an eye on the operational data for service firms like accounting and legal practices

    Hi Komal, just to make sur we understand the idea here properly. When you say you'd like a report of all direct debits, is this where you've made a direct debit payment for bills? Or where you have customers that may be on direct debit payments with your business? 

  6. Ability to specify from a list of practice Xero organisations where to publish XPM invoices, as the practice bills from multiple legal entities.

  7. At the moment, within XPM staff permissions, there is either full access for managing invoices (view, edit, create and delete invoices), or nothing. Staff should have access to view previous invoices for tax return preparation, but not necessarily the permission to edit, create or delete invoices. Would like more access granularity for this feature.

  10. Clock back the time without re-entering all information

    Many times throughout the day I stopped the clock time in XPM and I start working on another job, then later I might go back and work on the initial work I was working on. It would be fantastic if we can clock back in the initial job without having to enter all the details such as the client, job and task again... it would also save time. The online App Clockify offers this option, you might check it out for reference.. hoping this idea is taking on board sometime

  11. Enable the ability to generate a report that includes users for each client organisation that includes users who are not staff members so that you can quickly see if the correct and relevant people are accessing the Xero file and know if you need to remove users who shouldn't be there.

  12. It would be great to have tasks within jobs (XPM) link to Xero Blue's item codes so that when importing bulk invoices, they can be allocated to a specific task/item code. This will allow for easy reporting both in XPM/Xero Blue.

    Otherwise, it would be great to have an option to allocate a task to invoices in Xero Blue that links back to the relevant task in XPM, similarly to the way the Reference field works for jobs.

  15. Per the attached screenshots, it would significantly increase efficiency to be able to use quick keyboard shortcuts when entering timesheets. Specifically the + and SAVE buttons, as almost everything else can be entered using the keyboard alone.

  16. In the timesheets window, a button which takes you back to todays timesheet.

    I often have to scroll back, and prepare prior period timesheets, and so it would be handy to have a "today" button, which will automatically return you to the current days timesheet - rather than having to scroll forward (similar to handisoft practice manager).

  18. Is it possible to add a few extra columns to XPM - All jobs board rather than creating different reports or clicking on different jobs/pages to collate basic client information. I would like to add the following columns to assist with Trusts and Superfunds.

    -Trustee/Company Name
    -Invoice Number

    Currently, if you invoice a Trust e.g. ABC Family Trust for XYZ Pty Ltd (Trustee), I would like to see both entities in Jobs board and not just ABC Family Trust. This comes in handy when chasing payments or matching jobs as a result in separate jobs linked to a Trust or…

  19. XPM Custom Report - Allow field selection & criteria to access client, tax & invoice data. We need to run a report that will check if a tax return was created within a date range and then check if any invoices were created during that same time. Currently we have created a custom report of clients who we have started a tax return for and then we manually have to check if they were invoiced.

  20. XPM - Lock timesheets when a draft final invoice has been prepared.
    We are having issues with staff adding time to a job when there is a draft Final invoice that has been created. Then the invoice is approved and the added WIP does not get picked up and sits on the now completed job for us to stumble over months later. It makes sense to lock the timesheets when a Final invoice has been drafted.
