It would be great if you can automate the ticking in of this 'ATOmate Fee For Service' (under client details) whenever 'Deduct fee from refund' is selected on the tax return currently in process. And if in the next financial year's tax return it is no longer fee from refund, 'ATOmate Fee For Service' will automatically be unticked.

  4. Keep the Xero Classic Look everyone preferred.

    The design of the Job Manager page is sadly reminiscent of an excel spreadsheet.

    One of the enjoyments of the Xero software compared to its competitors are the fresh, clean pages that make it inviting to use. The Job Manager board is missing the 'attractiveness' that has been part of Xero's signature branding.

    Specifically black text, flat checkboxes, grey cell borders and grey column headers makes it feel like an outdated 1990s program.

  5. It would be really helpful to receive notifications when a client pays their payrun.

    Especially for our large PAYG Withholding clients, where we send them an email of the tax withholding payable. As large PAYG Withholders only have a roughly a week to pay, an email notification would be a timer saver. As we wouldn't need to log in to check that the pay run has been paid.

  6. It would really make my life easier if you could please allow the [Month] [Year] option to label on the task for recurring jobs. This would allow us to see in blue Xero the label of the task namely month and year when invoicing our clients. This would be really helpful when identify numerous jobs and tasks for the same client as the job name does not appear on the invoice in blue Xero. Also, with using the [Month] feature, it would roll over in the next recurring job on its own.

  7. Sorting Draft Invoices by Job Type

    Every quarter we invoice a large amount of standard disbursement costs these all come from a particular job type.
    It would be great if we could sort by job type so we could bulk approve these invoices. Currently it looks to sort by job number. This means when I 'select all' I have to manually go through and untick the draft invoices that have another job type. I have tried to set a filter to only show text with 'Quarterly' which shows in the job type but this produces no results.

  9. We have an increasing number of clients with compromised TFNs that have had to get added security on their ATO lodgments. When we lodge for these clients, it isn't always obvious if it's gone through or not, and as it is our assistants lodging and not the client managers, we can't expect them to memorise every secured client off by heart. We need a way to flag the client (other than a client note or a note on the form as these aren't checked regularly as part of the lodgement process).

  10. It would be great if we could use Collaboration Manager to assign emails directly to the Client, rather than a Job or a Quote. These emails would then be automatically stored under the Notes tab in the Clients screen.

  11. Contacts in XPM are used when integrating into other systems and each system reads thedetails slightly differently. As the 'Position' field and the 'Set as primary' field are unique to the client that the contact is being used for it would be great if the 'Salutation' and 'Address' could also be unique to the client.

    This would stop the necessity of having the same contact multiple times in XPM just to enable slightly different versions of the salutation of address for different integrations, therefore having a cleaner useable system of contact in XPM.

  12. The job budget is a key piece of information for all staff to have visibility. However the Budget field on a job is only visible if staff have Access Financial Data permissions. Giving Access Financial Data permissions allows staff to view and edit client billing details, edit practice subscription and export subscription. Surely, such wide ranging powers is not appropriate for ALL staff.

    Surely this permission should fall under the "Manage Jobs" permission matrix not under Finances permission matrix.

  13. Group Custom Fields - it would be very useful to be able to assign custom fields to groups rather than only contacts & individuals, then be able to report on these fields. This would help with areas such as marketing, estimated fee groups, and handover notes.

    We currently use the main billing entity but this would save a lot of time and improve efficiencies.

  16. XPM Timesheets/Timeclock - The ability for the saved time to be ordered from the most recent time to the first time entries of the day so you can quickly see when you last entered time, as a start point. This saves a whole lot of scrolling if you have a lot of entries for the day.

  17. We currently integrate with a range of practice management software, and have a recurring request from customers using XPM to have us add notes to client records when certain actions are taken.

    Currently, adding or updating notes is not possible via the API, however documents can be managed via the API. Client notes are useful as they allow important communications with a client to be logged against that client for future reference.

  19. When accessing through ipad browser (chrome/safari/edge), if entering time through the dashboard, there is not the function to start typing a job name and the list to match with the name typed. This function is avaialble on desktop. This means users need to scroll through the list to get to client name, then click/tap on it. Requesting the desktop site does not work.

  20. In Job Manager, please include the following dates to allow better management of workflow and practice objectives to better service clients:

    • Job Received Date (from client) - make this editable, but history of changes is recorded and viewable.
    • Job Start Date (when job was started on, or triggered, for recurring ones)
    • Job STATE Due Date (for the specific Job States)
    • Job FINAL Due Date (eg. based on deadlines or Practice's targets, eg. within 8-12 weeks of receiving the Job)
    • Last Actioned Date (this can sit within the Comments/Notes column within Job Manager view, just as so many others have requested***).
