  1. In the job list screen, it would be great if you could either customise the "priority" so that jobs appear in the order that you need to complete them or if you could simply move them to the order that you would like to complete them in.

  2. To have a function that essentially works as a sticky note on the details page of the clients file. Although there is the notes function, it it easily lost within the multiple tabs, however if something was right there on the home screen for all to see it isn't as easily missed/ignored. It could be something simple like a staff member has been trying to get in touch with the client, or bringing attention to an address change, noting the preferred method for documents to be signed etc.

  3. Client Search History: being able to see the clients in XPM that you have searched for recently/previous 24hrs. When needing to go back to a client you recently searched and updated etc and need to go back into same client or cannot remember client name etc. Would have thought this would be 'standard feature' as in other progams we use

  5. XPM Staff permission - Practice Administration Permissions: You shouldnot have to give a staff member access to the full business setting menu to be able let them access the PLS/ELS reports. There should be a PLS/ELS Management only permission.

    I want a staff member to be able to access the PLS/ELS reports without being able to access other staff member information or having access to all my practice setting.

  9. A section in Tax on XPM it notifies you that an ITR doesn't have bank account details entered before filing.
    This will help solve the issue of filing tax returns with missing client bank accounts for refunds.

  10. I believe it would be very beneficial if there was an option to have an overall notes section for each column, and not just only a notes section for each specific return / activity statement. Rather this notes option would just be for the client as a whole, so the impotant notes could be stored here. It is easier to record previous discussions that may have been made about the client and their specific situations. This will make it much more accessible to see the whole history of the client with just one click.

    It would be great to have a running record of client history in XPM, showing the date and person who, including but not limited to:
    - created the client
    - edited client details
    - archived client
    In a large firm over multiple offices, it would be easier to know who to contact if there are questions about details are entered into XPM, and keep XPM as a CRM up to date.

  12. In XPM, if we want to look at what tax payment notices we’ve sent to a client, we can’t see this by looking at the individual client’s dashboard. We need to go to the tax menu then search the client. It would be good if we could see it on the individual client’s dashboard as a section in the Tax Returns tab.

  13. It would be helpful to be able to insert a merge field such as 'Tax Year' into the description of a task. Handy when it comes to preparation of the invoice as not all returns are for the current year.

  14. It would be great if we could have the option of a display name as legal name for all entity types and not just individuals to help differentiate different entities with the same name. For example, we have a few trusts that share the same name but are completely separate entities belonging to different client groups and it can make it hard to tell those apart at a glance.

  15. Be able to link multiple Xero files to one XPM client. Quite a few clients have more than one Xero file (e.g. ledger, payroll only, standard/premium, etc.) and it would be useful to be able to link all of a client's Xero files to their XPM profile.

  18. Ability to move active jobs within a client so that when the automatic retrieval from ATO (+New Return, +New AS, +New CURNN) goes to the top job on the list. At the moment it automatically goes to the last job created. This wont necessarily be the job you want the automatic retrieval to go against. Should be able to sort the active jobs so that this can happen. We currently have to go into the automatic BAS created, delete it, open the correct job and create a new BAS from there.

  19. It would be great to have the ability to change the issue date for draft invoices created in Practice Manager. The only way to do this is to delete the invoice and re-create it which can be very time consuming. The Due date can stay as the company's default, and update according to the new issue date.

  20. Debit card transactions are not needed to be reported on 1099s. When using bank feeds in checking accounts it does not distinguish debit card vs check. I suggest there be a option to identify debit card vs checks so the debit card activity is not automatically added the the 1099 reporting.
