  3. There could be many possible things to be able to track in there, but I would like to be able to:

    Limit the 'states' shown to things I am directly involved with like 'For review' and 'For Invoicing'.

    My secretary would want to see states that apply to her like 'to sign'.

    Only show 'Priority level' High and Urgent (with the flick of a keystroke)

    Possibly allow some of the functionality in the 'jobs' tab or the report builder to be 'saved' in the dashboard screen like mini tables that update real time?

  4. Client Search History: being able to see the clients in XPM that you have searched for recently/previous 24hrs. When needing to go back to a client you recently searched and updated etc and need to go back into same client or cannot remember client name etc. Would have thought this would be 'standard feature' as in other progams we use

  5. It would be helpful to be able to insert a merge field such as 'Tax Year' into the description of a task. Handy when it comes to preparation of the invoice as not all returns are for the current year.

We have many individual clients who don't have a company or trust etc. Can there be a salutations field that can be used specifically for addressing them in invoices and tax letters that doesn't affect where they stand in the alphabetical order of things? If we update their display name, all of those clients would be under 'M' for Miss, Mrs, Ms or Mr rather that their first or last name which then throws reporting if you're looking for someone in particular in a list of people. Report builder offers the ability to print PDF reports which is great but if needing to use these for external purposes, e.g. a timesheet detail report to supplement an invoice, the criteria/header portion currently has to be printed also. It would be great to have an option to show/hide the criteria/header when printing to PDF.

  9. Can we please customise client page on XPM to add a column for the Account Manager. We currently see the Client NAME, PH NUMBER, and ADDRESS. Can we please add Account Manager to the page?
    It would cut out a lot time when processing morning mail or directing phone calls from clients as this would mean we don't have to open the client file to see who they belong to.

  10. After the recent XPM change where a user can allocate staff to multiple jobs from the Jobs menu, the staff at the Task level are added but the checkbox is not ticked. This means that the staff member can see the job in their timesheet, but not the tasks associated with that job, so cannot book time.

    Support have advised they are aware this has changed and do not have a solution to get around this currently, other than manually going into each job and filling the tick box for each staff member for each task. As we create and…

  13. In the last week the ability to add multiple tasks to new employees has been taken away, you can still add all jobs but without the ability to add all tasks or some as well that feature is now useless.

    please can you tell me why this has been removed and bring it back asap. I have staff unable to complete time sheets at the moment.

  14. Invoices issued from XPM need to have the ability to have payment services so that clients can click on a Pay Now button and pay the invoice immediately in order to:
    - improve cashflow by collecting monies as soon as possible
    - remove the need to push invoices into blue xero to gain access to Pay Now functionality
    - remove double handling of invoices that practice staff originate in XPM and then operations staff have to issue from blue Xero. Practice staff should be able to manage practice invoices without having to involve operations staff.

  15. Please revert the staff page back to the old format.

    What used to be able to be accessed all on one page, you now have to click through on to 10 different pages to access the same information, and then this involves scrolling through so much wasted "white space" as well.

    Why are you insisting on pushing through with these changes to your programs which actually make more work for the people that use them.

    And the consistent change to spread everything out so that you constantly have to scroll and scroll and scoll - why. Your need for so…

  16. Id like to have a placeholder for the prior period when using the recurring jobs function.
    When you complete a bookkeeping job you are doing this on prior period data so the recurring job functionality to use 'period' is not useful as it creates the workflow job a week in advance.

  17. I would like to be able to have a selection of criteria for the standard Job WIP Balances Report that allows me to produce that report by certain fields in the report ie Name, State. Also by adding the following criteria would also save me a lot of time exporting and trying to sort by:
    1. Client Group; or
    2. Manager.

  18. Reporting on XPM - I need to run a report from XPM that shows me ALL our clients who haven't had a job booked in yet showing the name "2023" so I can then chase them for checklists.

    I can't see how to run a report that shows this. I really don't want to have to run multiple reports and compare things off - with over 1200 clients this takes an awful long time.

    There has to be a simpler way.

  19. Can you please allow Estimated Billing dollar amounts and WIP data to be accessed by third party approved apps.

    We have FYI Docs connected and they integrate with Xero Job Manager. They can only show WIP on jobs as time amounts not dollar values. Seeing actual WIP in hours is pretty much useless.

    This is critical for our practice as we use FYI Docs Job Manager. We currently have to also have a excel document running along side it that needs manual updating so we can view Estimated Billable amounts on jobs compared to the budget.

  20. Practice Manager - Bulk update ITR due dates within tax return

    If we request the income tax client report through Xero, the due dates update in the client detail level, but not in the tax return if they have already been created.
    Being able to bulk update the due dates within the tax return, especially when deferrals are requested and successful with the ATO would be helpful as manually updating them all can be time consuming.
