To make unaudited financial statements for Community Benefit Society Companies. Although Ltd, it has a unique company registration number, the accounts are submitted via the mutual register. The reporting format is slightly different. It includes, Management Committee Report, Independent Accountant Report and Notes to Financial Statements.

Practice Manager | Report - Variance of job budget to WIP
It would be extremely helpful to be able to view and report on how much of the budget is left on a job.
Reports in XPM focus on time rather than WIP and there are no standard reports that include job budgets. I want to be able to report on how much of the budget is left on a job without having to export to excel and run a formula.
MYOB had a great Job Manager and you could view all jobs on one screen and see the budget and what budget left and if there was more WIP than…

Xero HQ - Search for archived clients
I want to restore an archived client in Xero HQ and can change the list from Practice Clients to Archived but when I enter the client name in the search box it returns only practice clients.
It appears the only way to find the client to restore it is to go the bottom of the archived clients list and click on "Show more clients" repeatedly until the client shows - quite a laborious process if the client is towards the end of the alphabet!

Practice Manager - Add date to apply custom task rates
Custom task rate - although the charge out rate can be amended for individual tasks for a member of staff, there is no "from" date that can be specified so it is applied to all un-invoiced WIP. It would therefore be very useful to be able to have the ability to put in a date from when the new rate should be applied.

Hubdoc - Default to REVIEW for Docs
Under the Doc window on the left, default setting should be REVIEW after you logon, as most Uses are not interested in items that have already been processed.

Practice Manager | Client Revenue Report - with comparatives
Xero Practice Manager -
There is a report in XPM, Client Revenue Report, this is great for end of year reporting by client. Unfortunately there is no opportunity to select a comparative. Can we please have the ability to run this report in the same manner as the Income by Contact report in Xero Blue. Thanks.

Xero HQ - Alerts for unfiled GST returns
There used to be a tab where we could check which of our clients hadn't filed their GST returns on time, this has been removed, can you please bring it back as we now have no way of checking if we or our clients have missed filing a return.

2 votesHi Debbie, the 'waiting approval' report only contains unapproved letters. And the field you've references would only contain payments 'since approval' so even if included, would always be 0.00.
Could you share a little detail of any underlying pain point you're looking for this idea to help you solve? It'd help in sharing back with the team and considering how this could be tackled. Thanks!

Hubdoc - Untick 'Save configuration' check box by default
In the HubDoc there is a default setting with a checkbox always marked (active) for "save configuration".
A lot of mistakes are made because old text is saved and reused when it shouldn't.
It's better if there is no text instead of wrong text.
Therefore the default should be unchecked (off) for this "save configuration" checkbox because it causes a lot of problems when the wrong text is saved to XERO.

Workpaper - Ability to select defaults
Why do we need to have all of the 'Z do not use' sections appear when setting up a new pack that then need to be unticked? It would be better to have them unticked in the first place

Hubdoc - Upload notifications
It would be useful if a notification was sent when any document was uploaded. Currently, there are supplier level notifications but when there is something that has been uploaded (jpg, memo, etc) and the system is unable to identify it to a supplier it dumps it to the failed tab which at present does not create any notification.

Practice Manager | Permissions - Restriction access to change bank account details for client
Add restriction on changing bank account details for client (in XPM and tax return).
Given Optus and related fraud - > not all staff should have the ability to update bank account details on a client.
There should be the ability to restrict this so procedures - eg phone calls to verify etc - can be put in place.4 votes -

AU Tax: Activity Statement - Ability to clear failed statements
Failed Activity Statements appear to be unable to be cleared so continue to sit as an action item.
Need to have mechanism to clear as lodged rather than having continue to sit as an item needing action forever.

XPM: Ability to have alias email address for multiple practices
Xero Log on - Alias email address for use with multi practice access.
Currently working in two accountancy practices with access to Xero but can only have one access to Admin. This means restricted access to one practices clients and having to be added manually to each client.
I have a generic email address from my Log in so the clients are not aware I work for multiple firms. This has to be explained to the client as it shows in their user list. Also when emailing clients directly from Xero, an alias email has to be created for that…4 votes -
Hubdoc - Ability to see the documents that have been reconciled in Xero
I want to see in Hubdoc which receipts have been reconciled in Xero.
Currently there is no way to know which receipts are reconciled with charges from credit card and which are not, except that I re-publish and get an error of not being able to re-publish because the transactions have been reconciled. For credit card reconciliation, NOT all purchases from vendor will be charged immediately9 votesHi team, thanks for raising your ide with us here. Contractors use Lowe's and Home Depot credit. Can these statements be uploaded and converted to csv file for Xero?
