Update New Zealand trust financial reporting templates to comply with the Tax Administration (Financial Statement - Domestic Trusts) Order 2022 as set out in Inland Revenue's Operational Statement OS 22/02, including removing reference to repealed Trustees Act 1956 and replacing with Trusts Act 2019.

  2. Please incorporate myxero into practice manager. at the moment there are MyXero, XeroHQ, XPM and XeroBlue all have different but similar settings, which makes thing very confusing.

  3. The ability to post be posted from Xero to XPM based on the invoice line rather than per invoice.
    We have a monthly fee that goes out to clients from Xero that has two invoice lines, one being the consulting fee and the second being a software subscription fee. We would love the consulting fee line to post to the "Ad Hoc" job and then have the subscription line go to a new job called "software recovery".

  4. I would like to know if it is possible to rename email templates that are used when sending returns or Activity Statements Out for Signature. eg: from 'Custom 1' to a more useful name

  6. Would be nice for a client to have access to all queries from accountancy practice directly in Xero, instead of following links from emails. Quite often the client does not notice those emails or ignore it. It would be more convenient to log in to Xero, go to outstanding queries and complete those.

Contacts grouping - When exporting clients to a CSV file, being able to see which clients are allocated to which group, I've assigned a group (there's about 8 different groups in total) to 2/3 of my 1500 client list, but now have to sift through 1 by 1 allocate a group to the remaining clients.

  11. When posting the CT charge for the year, Xero Tax defaults to the 500 code in Xero. Not all our clients use this. Is there a way of reverting to the blank accounts codes so we can change this per client? Thanks

  13. Would love to see features to the group profile. Even if they were custom tabs from the business settings (so it applies to all groups). Some ideas are:

    1. Group information - could be a list of the clients and their partner, manager, class, etc (would be great if each firm could select what client details they want to include from their business settings).

    2. Client Fees - could use this section to add services, fees and notes for each client, and then have this total per service, client and group. This way you can update on the go and see the…

  14. When preparing personal tax return on Xero, I accidentally edited the field "Your spouse's assessable income" in Spouse tab and now it's labeled as "edited"

    It could be great if I can undo the 'edit' so the field can automatically generate data from spouse's return like how it was

  15. It would be very helpful that when a new Tax Return for a new Client is created that the Clients mobile numbers and emails are put in by default and we have the option to set a default for the Clients bank details & postal address to always be selected.
    I know that the information carries on from the previous year regarding the address and bank details but if the information is supplied on the new client profile before the Tax Return is created it should automatically select the Clients Information.

  18. In the HubDoc there is a default setting with a checkbox always marked (active) for "save configuration".

    A lot of mistakes are made because old text is saved and reused when it shouldn't.

    It's better if there is no text instead of wrong text.

    Therefore the default should be unchecked (off) for this "save configuration" checkbox because it causes a lot of problems when the wrong text is saved to XERO.

  20. Using notifications are a great way to communicate on a job and keeping the history of the same. One frustration I have is when a new note is created I get a notification to tell me a new note has been added but I do not know what the subject of the new notification is from my on screen notification. This can be a problem as some notifications take only a few moments of my time whilst others require me to set aside a substantial amount of time, but I cant tell which it is from the on screen notification.…
