  1. It would be useful if a notification was sent when any document was uploaded. Currently, there are supplier level notifications but when there is something that has been uploaded (jpg, memo, etc) and the system is unable to identify it to a supplier it dumps it to the failed tab which at present does not create any notification.

  2. Automation of Approval for STP filing.
    The ATO requires approval from the client for every STP filing. I would like to see in the Xero/Payroll/Pay Employees/Payrun/Pay Run Options/ drop down menu (where the current options of Download ABA, Email Payslips, and Revert to Draft to also include an option to send approval request to xx@***.com for approval to lodge STP F. It would be good for a copy of the Payroll Activity Details be sent to the client, with the request for approval.

  4. Love Xero Tax for FRS105 but don't use it for FRS102 s1A accounts. Are there any plans to be able to select to include a SOIRE (not just a SOCE)? This is critical for a potential switchover to Xero Tax for these accounts for me.

    We've been exploring opportunities for expanding UK tax capabilities for our partners and are considering the ability to include a SOIRE for FRS102 1A accounts. We'll shift to Under review and share more when there's updates with you here. 🙂

  5. Add restriction on changing bank account details for client (in XPM and tax return).
    Given Optus and related fraud - > not all staff should have the ability to update bank account details on a client.
    There should be the ability to restrict this so procedures - eg phone calls to verify etc - can be put in place.

    Hi everyone, we’d like to confirm that GST F5 for foreign currency ledger is not something we have plans to develop at this time. We’re still interested to get a clearer understanding of users that’d like to see this developed for Singapore tax, and will continue to track this through the conversation here.

    In the meantime, for those who aren’t already aware, in a Singapore organisation users can access the GST Audit report which shows the base currency, FX value and Singapore dollar value information you’ll need to meet IRAS requirements.

    As the GST Audit report doesn’t show the gains and losses needed for IRAS reporting, you can use the Foreign Currency Gains and Losses report to see this information.

  7. Failed Activity Statements appear to be unable to be cleared so continue to sit as an action item.

    Need to have mechanism to clear as lodged rather than having continue to sit as an item needing action forever.

  8. Have a multi tick box option for custom fields to be able to select more than one option.
    i.e. we are a multi disciplinary accounting firm and offer multi different services such as advisory, tax, bookkeeping etc and won't to be able to identify what the client has engaged us for [frequently it's more than one service]

  10. Please could we have the option to change the Corporation Tax Return approval date in the same way that the Accounts Approval date can be changed to reflect the actual date the client signed the accounts and tax return.

    Or better still, we could just have one are to change the approval date and it would update both the accounts and corporation tax return

    We have been embracing Xero Tax for all our company accounts and tax returns this year, to really identify what still needs to be addressed and provide that feedback before we abandon our existing software.

  11. Xero Log on - Alias email address for use with multi practice access.
    Currently working in two accountancy practices with access to Xero but can only have one access to Admin. This means restricted access to one practices clients and having to be added manually to each client.
    I have a generic email address from my Log in so the clients are not aware I work for multiple firms. This has to be explained to the client as it shows in their user list. Also when emailing clients directly from Xero, an alias email has to be created for that…

  13. Dear Support, it would be very handy to have a report so that we can ascertain the status of a clients AS. I know that there is the visual on the status bar. But if you do not have the AS an automated process, for workflow purposes, it would be good to know that is a client is scheduled to has an AS completed, that in fact, this has been completed in the workflow. Additionally for tax returns, a report that reads the status of the return, either commence in progress, not started etc. The ato reports only gives a…

  17. We have a number of sets of accounts that have been prepared under FRS102 1A but do still require an audit in the UK as the group as a whole exceeds more than 2 of the thresholds. There is currently no way to simply toggle on an auditors report, with additional free type text fields to file these via Xero Tax, which would be nice to be able to do and save us requiring another piece of software altogether for these clients.

  18. When we link XPM to Xero, we have to set up a code for Income. This is set to a default code (200 Sales) however we also use codes to differentiate income between Company Accounts, Personal Tax Returns, VAT work etc. Would it be possible to add something that allows us to select the code per job? Or alternatively to allow adding of tracking categories?

  19. Given the changes in the WFH deductions area, we have been looking at simple ways our accountants can log on their timesheets when they are WFH so that a simple report can be generated at year end to assist with their personal tax returns.

    We have added the custom field to the time entry where they can specify whether they are working off premises, at the office or from home.

    We have no way of making this a mandatory field and it only comes up when accessing the timesheet entry point of Dashboard -> Enter Time -> Daily

  20. Custom task rate - although the charge out rate can be amended for individual tasks for a member of staff, there is no "from" date that can be specified so it is applied to all un-invoiced WIP. It would therefore be very useful to be able to have the ability to put in a date from when the new rate should be applied.
