  1. Would like the ability to be able to view all clients on screen in Xero HQ for the purposes of merging duplicates as being able to click the 'Show more clients' means it's difficult to navigate where there is a trading name and legal name in different parts of the list.

    Hi community,

    Our product team recently made significant improvements to the client list! 🥳

    You can now choose how many clients to show per page, making it easier to see many more clients. You can now also sort your client list using many more columns. Previously the only column you could sort by is client name but now you can hover over all the columns (organisation name, email address, phone number, business number, subscription type, industry classification, connected banks, financial year, Bank feed deprecation) on the client list and sort. 

    Finally, you can also merge or add clients to groups from the list page. 

    The product team don't have any plans to enable the ability to view all clients on one screen which is why we're shifting this to 'not planned' but we believe that these combined changes will provide a better navigation experience.

  2. Once filleted accounts have been filed, there is no option to add or remove the detailed P&L to the full statutory accounts.

  3. In Canada it is common to have January 1, 20XX as the fiscal year end date instead of December 31, 20XX. As a result, the Sales Tax Reports are unable to be utilized because even though I can have my fiscal year end matching in Xero, it won't let me run the report based on custom dates - for example, if I have a quarterly filer that has a January 1, 20XX fiscal year end, then the Q1 period is going to be January 2 to April 1 and it would be due May 1 - and not Jan 1…

  6. The tax return view/list can be significantly improved through:
    - the All tax return tab - ability to update the status from here. Currently, when we go to Lodge, we have to find the return in the All tab to determine what status it is at, then go to that specific status tab, find the return again, and update the status - this is really cumbersome, particularly when we are lodging numerous returns that are all set at different statuses.
    - the ability to see more fields/columns for each tax return to reduce the risk of lodging the incorrect return.…

  7. Would be great if there was a second "Refresh from Xero" button in Xero Workpapers when preparing the workpaper pack. Idea being that the button stays constant as you scroll down the page with a large volume of accounts. This saves having to scroll back up the top of the page and scroll back to the account you were working on.

  8. Recently, Hubdoc links have been appearing as lengthy, distracting hyperlinks in our documents and reports. It can be frustrating to encounter these long links, and it's time-consuming to manually remove them one by one.
    It would be great if This feature should be entirely optional, allowing users to activate or deactivate it according to their preferences.

  9. Enable feature allowing users to Hide resolved queries, so only outstanding queries are showing and user does not have to spend time locating outstanding queries to resolve.

  11. Prior year workpapers - would you be able to change colour for financial years for workpapers. I refer to prior year workpapers to complete a job. It would be helpful to have different colours for current and prior year Xero workpapers to avoid confusion when both open at once.

  16. I was tagging my balance sheet and my VAT balance in the current year is a creditor but the balance last year was a debtor balance. Is there a way to tag them seperately so my debtors and creditors balances in the current and prior year are correct?

A client user console with the ability for that user to log in and see queries on multiple entities rather than have to click on every email. eg. particularly useful when asking queries to a bookkeeper or financial planner on multiple different clients so that they can track all their queries in one location.
