  3. It would be extremely helpful if there was an option to set multiple lock dates for various clients at once, so that we don't have to go into each client separately each month. It would also be helpful to have this option on Xero HQ with a view to their current locked period as well.

  4. Update the text flags for the reconciled/completed (etc) flags in workpapers so that they change if an item is marked as complete or not (i.e. the wording changes from Not Completed to Completed once flagged). This would assist staff who are colour blind or have other vision impairments that mean that they can't see the coloured flags but instead could hover over the icon to see if an items was completed or not.

  6. As with Individual returns and Activity Statements, the contact name and email address are automatically populated when you press request signature. For some reason, Company, Trust, and Pship returns have to be manually entered. Besides the time, it opens up the risk of an incorrect address being entered. Please fix this small but meaningful step.

  7. To have the Xero Fx rate populate automatically, show up as a suggestion, or be able to be selected via drop-down list within the Payments screen when Fx is involved. Currently you have to open a new tab, go to settings/currency, enter you date and then copy/paste the Fx rate.

It would be great if Xero AI was smart enough to recognize, or have the ability to set settings, so that if a location is added to a transaction, the default tax code for that region will populate based on whether it is a sale/purchase. But also have the ability to edit the tax code if for some reason you need to

  9. When you use the cog in Hubdoc to update supplier information e.g. payment terms it use to being up the supplier, but it has recently stopped doing this. Now you have to search for the supplier to update and this takes time and is frustrating, especially as you use to be able to do this. Please put back this facility.

  11. Once the Statutory accounts are generated more customisation options would be very helpful. The ability to add or group headings in the P&L and balance sheet would be great. Currently there is no option to show pre-tax profits in the P&L or to show more detail within certain grouped headings in the balance sheet.

    Looks like your idea my have been cut off here, Oliver - Is there any more detail you'd like to share with this? While the Income by Contact report will show totals, you can easily click on an amount which will drill down to the contact activity for that period.


  17. As an accounting firm, we use many platforms for our clients, including Dext.
    During the Dext webinar today, we see that they have an amazing 'rule' section for vendors/customers with multiple line items. The description column is recognized and categorized to the assigned acct.

    My question to you......does (or will) HubDoc have this option available?

    I do see the 'Add last items' option, but this is not useful. I have attached a vendor invoice summary for reference

    Hi Vicki, while Xero acquired Hubdoc, these are still two quite separate products. We don't have any plans for renaming tags in Hubdoc, or vice versa for Tracking in Xero. We'll get a sense of the interest for this here, however I do want just want to be open from the get go that this isn't in our plans. 

  19. I have a number of clients who require the SA102M Ministers of Religion pages. I'd really like to see these added to Xero Tax.

  20. While mapping accounts today, I discovered that you can map ALL GIFI codes, even those that are calculated in Taxcycle. This causes an issue when you import, as the calculated lines don't import and just disappear.

    Perhaps talk to the people in Taxcycle to update the filter/list to exclude calculated GIFIs.
