  1. Update the text flags for the reconciled/completed (etc) flags in workpapers so that they change if an item is marked as complete or not (i.e. the wording changes from Not Completed to Completed once flagged). This would assist staff who are colour blind or have other vision impairments that mean that they can't see the coloured flags but instead could hover over the icon to see if an items was completed or not.

  2. As with Individual returns and Activity Statements, the contact name and email address are automatically populated when you press request signature. For some reason, Company, Trust, and Pship returns have to be manually entered. Besides the time, it opens up the risk of an incorrect address being entered. Please fix this small but meaningful step.

  3. When you use the cog in Hubdoc to update supplier information e.g. payment terms it use to being up the supplier, but it has recently stopped doing this. Now you have to search for the supplier to update and this takes time and is frustrating, especially as you use to be able to do this. Please put back this facility.

  9. When completing a tax return in XPM, have the audit check feature check the IRD number for hyphens so it's in the correct format. If the number is entered with spaces instead of a hyphens, the audit check lets it pass, and throws an error when submitting.

    Hi Franjo, currently an IRD Number validity check is done in Xero Practice Manager tax. Being open we don't have any plans of changing the check that is in place, however we do find most issues are caused when a IRD number is copy and pasted in to Xero and includes lead or trailing spaces which can throw an error.

    We'd recommend typing this in to avoid issues.

  10. It would be great if the FuseDocs API included the ability to pull through custom field data, so that we can use this to drive custom compilations in FuseDocs (i.e. Engagement Letter).

  12. when xero says 'Document too large to attach. View in Hubdoc' when viewing an invoice, could you make that a hyperlink so i can just click on the link to hubdoc, saves copy & paste, thanks.

  13. In XPM, if we want to look at what tax payment notices we’ve sent to a client, we can’t see this by looking at the individual client’s dashboard. We need to go to the tax menu then search the client. It would be good if we could see it on the individual client’s dashboard as a section in the Tax Returns tab.

  14. Workpapers - Preview Attachment Highlighting faded
    When previewing a workpaper rather than downloading if you have highlighted using pdf manager this doesnt show that bright. Need to fix as this is hard for a review to know what the team member has highlight.

It would be really good if when the accounts and corporation tax return have been sent out for digital signature to a client that there was a send receipt with a date and time stamp to show its been sent to the client with details of what email address it was sent to. When sending out lots of requests over various different clients it is easy to forget if you have sent the signature requests out.

  18. It would be great to have the ability to change the issue date for draft invoices created in Practice Manager. The only way to do this is to delete the invoice and re-create it which can be very time consuming. The Due date can stay as the company's default, and update according to the new issue date.

  20. Exporting Canadian GIFI schedule should be enabled for the current tax year. Sometimes we need to export the current period to run a tax projection in the tax software.
