  2. I would like to recommend adding 'Effective Date of VAT Registration' on the Financial settings, as this information can easily disappear amongst all the many documents we store for the client and also easily mistaken as the Date of company incorporation that can lead to many issues down the line with HMRC.

    In P&L we have the concept of FX Calculations for foreign currencies:
    Bank Revaluations
    Realised Currency Gains
    Unrealised Currency Gains

    By design this takes the full amount of debt/credit and converts it to a base currency.

    But in situations where COGS are paid for in the same currency, there should be a concept of only applying these FX movements on the net margin remaining.

    For example.
    I have an Australian business. Base currency AUD.
    I send an invoice of EURO 100,000 to my Parisian client for the month. I receive the 100k in my EURO Foreign Currency Bank…

  4. In Xero partnership tax returns there is no option to populate the balance sheet boxes. Xero lacks this which i believe is core deficiancy and must be addressed immediatily

  5. AU 100% GST on Imports - this function needs to be improved. It's 2025 and we are still required to do manual adjustments for GST on imports to get the correct result. It shouldn't be this difficult!

  6. Is there a report on payments made after the due date to easily identify those not paid. Also I there a report available of payments made by INC year. This is to identify misdirected payments. If not can this please be made available.

  8. I want a report to be generated from Xero tax where i can view the total number of personal tax returns along with the bifurcation of tax returns on the basis of their current status. For instance, the report should have the total number of tax returns that need to be completed for the tax year 24-25 and then the breakdown of the same as per the status.

  9. The HubDoc Ui/Ux is outdated, we all know it. But its a good product. With the addition of the "Upload Bills" feature to Xero, it would make sense to just bring the full functionality of HubDoc right into the Ui of Xero rather than invest in the standalone product of HubDoc. It keeps us on one screen within Xero and eliminates all the nuances of the sync/integration.

    Maintaining backup to DropBox or Google Drive is key though. That makes it feel like a 'safe' backup method for receipts.

  10. Enable full visibility of Contacts when accessing via Additional Contacts area in Client screen.

    Currently, when we access a Contact via the Additional Contacts section of the Client screen, not all contact fields are displayed.

    Furthermore, when editing or adding a new contact, we cannot edit or access all the contact details. We cannot add or edit Mobile numbers or custom fields for Contacts. To access these, we have to exit the Client screen and access Contacts separately via Clients > Contacts.

    This adds a lot of extra steps that can be avoided by ensuring full visibility and full access…

  11. Please show the sales tax amounts that will be posted to each account (GST and RST) separately so we can reconcile to the receipt that is calculating properly. It would also be nice if we could manually override this amount as sometimes there is a small rounding difference. I am attaching an example from QBO. Please update your system to also have this functionality.

  12. On the tax computation, the number of associated companies does not show and also the tax calculation ie the reduction of £50k or £250k limit and marginal rate tax calculation. It would be useful, if this is shown on the tax computation so the tax can be explained to clients.

  13. We enter company number, company UTR number, director name when setting up client but why does this not get processed when preparing the company accounts and tax. We need to enter the company number, Company UTR number, Companies House authorisation code and director signing the return every time we want to use XERO tax. Surely there must be a way to simplify this so entering this information every time is a thing of the past.

  16. I'm using the "Aged Receivables Detail" and "Aged Payables Detail" reports for helping with accruals and prepayments and it would be extremely handy if you could add "payment date" to the report. Currently this isn't available so I'm having to use the report to identify potential accruals/prepayments and then manually go into each transaction to see when it was paid to then decide if it's an accrual or prepayment.. If the paid date was available in the report, this would save so much time.

  17. When a existing company had a year end change, there should be a a option to add the new year end. Currently when you add the new year end, all of the reports change to the new year end.

  18. Workpaper pack queries email template allows for fields to be added as 'tags' but the available fields/tags is too limited. Please include additional fields/tags, such as contacts first name and allow for a different templates for Organisations and Individuals.

  19. Currently estimates/quotes require a specific amount of time to be allocated against a specific task for a specific staff member. We need either notifications when total unbilled WIP for a client reaches x amount OR to be able to create a quote/estimate for a total dollar figure across all tasks and staff, and have notifications set when that figure (or % thereof) is reached. This feature is standard in most timekeeping programs and I'm shocked XPM doesn't have it.
