  1. I want a report to be generated from Xero tax where i can view the total number of personal tax returns along with the bifurcation of tax returns on the basis of their current status. For instance, the report should have the total number of tax returns that need to be completed for the tax year 24-25 and then the breakdown of the same as per the status.

  2. The HubDoc Ui/Ux is outdated, we all know it. But its a good product. With the addition of the "Upload Bills" feature to Xero, it would make sense to just bring the full functionality of HubDoc right into the Ui of Xero rather than invest in the standalone product of HubDoc. It keeps us on one screen within Xero and eliminates all the nuances of the sync/integration.

    Maintaining backup to DropBox or Google Drive is key though. That makes it feel like a 'safe' backup method for receipts.

  3. Enable full visibility of Contacts when accessing via Additional Contacts area in Client screen.

    Currently, when we access a Contact via the Additional Contacts section of the Client screen, not all contact fields are displayed.

    Furthermore, when editing or adding a new contact, we cannot edit or access all the contact details. We cannot add or edit Mobile numbers or custom fields for Contacts. To access these, we have to exit the Client screen and access Contacts separately via Clients > Contacts.

    This adds a lot of extra steps that can be avoided by ensuring full visibility and full access…

  4. Please show the sales tax amounts that will be posted to each account (GST and RST) separately so we can reconcile to the receipt that is calculating properly. It would also be nice if we could manually override this amount as sometimes there is a small rounding difference. I am attaching an example from QBO. Please update your system to also have this functionality.

  5. On the tax computation, the number of associated companies does not show and also the tax calculation ie the reduction of £50k or £250k limit and marginal rate tax calculation. It would be useful, if this is shown on the tax computation so the tax can be explained to clients.

  6. We enter company number, company UTR number, director name when setting up client but why does this not get processed when preparing the company accounts and tax. We need to enter the company number, Company UTR number, Companies House authorisation code and director signing the return every time we want to use XERO tax. Surely there must be a way to simplify this so entering this information every time is a thing of the past.

  7. We need the ability to list both a Supplier's Credit Limit (for Supplier Purchases, not Customer Sales) and their Account Number (as given to us by the Supplier)

  9. I'm using the "Aged Receivables Detail" and "Aged Payables Detail" reports for helping with accruals and prepayments and it would be extremely handy if you could add "payment date" to the report. Currently this isn't available so I'm having to use the report to identify potential accruals/prepayments and then manually go into each transaction to see when it was paid to then decide if it's an accrual or prepayment.. If the paid date was available in the report, this would save so much time.

  10. When a existing company had a year end change, there should be a a option to add the new year end. Currently when you add the new year end, all of the reports change to the new year end.

  11. Workpaper pack queries email template allows for fields to be added as 'tags' but the available fields/tags is too limited. Please include additional fields/tags, such as contacts first name and allow for a different templates for Organisations and Individuals.

  12. Currently estimates/quotes require a specific amount of time to be allocated against a specific task for a specific staff member. We need either notifications when total unbilled WIP for a client reaches x amount OR to be able to create a quote/estimate for a total dollar figure across all tasks and staff, and have notifications set when that figure (or % thereof) is reached. This feature is standard in most timekeeping programs and I'm shocked XPM doesn't have it.

  14. It would be beneficial for the Bank Reconciliation Status to return positive insights as well. I have attached a rough adjustment for the 'Up to date' flag, and I feel the slight CSS value adjustment here makes it more visible that the Bank Reconciliation is in fact up to date.

  15. When I create a new Report Pack, I can name it. When I add a custom report, that report shows as the Xero Standard Report Name, not as my Custom Report Name. Please can the Custom Report Name be shown, rather than the Xero Standard Report Name. If I add two different Custom Reports (both based on the Xero Standard Report), I don't know which is which.

  18. Revamp of self employment schedule within personal tax. Currently no adjusted profit report to show how you have arrived at the self employment profit on the summary computation report. Also no boxes to enter capital allowances wdv bfwd and no percentage option either to calculate amounts for the year in question on xero tax so a lot of manual work needed to calculate amount claimed in year. Should be automated.

  19. Want to be able to post money received overpayment's to accounts payable.

    At the moment, if a supplier sends back money and we don't yet have the paperwork, to clear the bank rec we need to add as an overpayment (tight closing dates) However, as its money received it automatically gets posted to the sales ledger. It would be good to have the option to post to the payables ledger so this can be allocated here

  20. Is there a plan in place to update the Edit Report layout to be more user friendly!
    In particular, it is clunky inserting tables and being able to edit like a simple word doc (bold, italic, line spacing etc.)
    Also being able to print off the reports in the 'edit' mode so you can see the expanded breakdown of the accordian would be very helpful to ensure that Notes match Statements of Financial Performance and Position (especially useful for our juniors who often can't work out where their subcodes are if there have been reporting changes)
