Xero Practice Manager - Ability to delete client
Ability to Delete a Client from Xero Practice Manager if they have an IRD Number and/or Tax Returns.
Have found that XPM has been updated so can no longer delete a Client if they have either and IRD Number or Tax Returns (including Archived Tax Returns). Client has to be Archived instead. Wanting to delete especially in cases such as the Client being deceased, rather than having to Archive (especially as Archived Clients can still appear in reports).
While could delete the IRD Number and all Tax Returns from the Client, then delete, this could be a long process (as have to unlock then delete each tax return individually).
Can we have the old process reinstated.
If there is a concern that the tax return information will be lost, could we not have an option to either Archive - and keep the information or Delete - and Tax Returns removed. We have the tax returns saved in our clients folders, so do not need when the client is deleted.

We split from another practice and have all their clients as we took XPM and HQ with us. Would love some way of being able to delete old staff, clients and freshen up the system!

I'm splitting my practice and selling half my clients, I do not want the new owner to be able to see the clients I have taken with me ... they will be sitting in archived, they should be removed from the old practice completely.

Ability to delete a client in Xero HQ before linking them to a file.
Currently I am only able to archive the client.
