  1. It would be useful to have settings to setup multiple emails on a clients record for different purposes. This would improve accuracy in communications and sending of documentation when managing clients.

    We're interested to understand the interest in being able to add multiple emails to a clients record, for the purposes of setting these up for different purposes.

    It would be great to hear more detailed feedback from our partners on the particular purposes you'd want to set up emails for and how this would help you through Xero's practice tools. Thanks!

  2. It is not currently possible to pull a report of all clients that have Franked distributions (field U) and Franking credit (field D) on their tax returns.     Appreciate you raising the idea in the forums here. We'll continue to get a sense of the interest in being able to pull these Franking fields with the report builder.

    If there are any plans made for enabling this we'll be sure to share with you all here.

  3. XPM has been updated recently (April 2025) and the update has removed the re-ordering of tasks function. We used the re-ordering function to put all tasks in chronological order e.g. monthly payroll tasks, VAT returns, year end accounts were all arranged in date order. Since the update all the re-ordering that we have completed on jobs have been changed and now all tasks are non-chronological and in a jumbled order. This is very frustrating. Please could Xero re-instate the ability to re-order tasks as required? These changes are a backwards step.

  4. Currently the productivity pie chart on the home page only reports on a weekly basis. It would be great if the home page can add a 2nd productivity pie chart which is set to report on a monthly basis. Most accounting firms/staff have monthly productivity targets, so this is why it would be a wonderful way to track MTD productivity results instead of only weekly.

    Hi everyone, thanks for raising this idea. We know rental income and expenses are a key part of tax for many businesses, and it would be super helpful to have a rental property schedule within the Company Tax Return (CTR) in Xero Tax.

    At the moment, there aren’t any rental worksheets for companies in Xero Tax, because the ATO doesn’t accept rental schedules on a CTR through PLS. That means this part of the return needs to be managed outside the system — which we understand isn’t ideal.

    That said, we can see this idea is already getting some traction, and it's now in the Gaining Support stage. If this would improve your workflow, feel free to vote or add a comment. It really helps the team understand what matters most to you.


  6. View salutation or an alternate name field
    As many clients are addressed by a different name other than their legal/birth name, it would be helpful to be able to view their salutation, or an alternate name, in the contact section of the client, without having to go into the contact to see this information.

  8. It would be good if we could update client info changes such as change of address or bank account changes directly in Xero that would then update on the ATO Portal. Having used this in another accounting package, it is an extremely efficient process that make sure the client info is updated at both sites. Making these changes directly through the ATO portal gives no (or very little) audit trail.

    We've reviewed your suggestion to have client information updated in XPM, such as addresses or bank details, sync directly with the ATO Portal. This idea is now ready to gain support from other community members.

  10. Ability to run an Aged Debtors Report of what debts clients owed us at a certain date in XPM. For example, we want to see what our clients owed us at 30/06/25, however the Standard Report (Aged Balance Report) can't be run to a certain date and if we create our own Report in Report Builder it removes clients from the report if they have paid since 01/07/25 and now owe nothing. We need these figures to do clients Financials and also for our own Practice reporting. We can run it in Xero Blue however we don't have the ability…

    Hi everyone, we’ve created this idea based on feedback we’ve heard from the community.

    We know how important it is to be able to instantly search for a client when creating a job in Xero Practice Manager. Manually scrolling through a long drop-down list can be time-consuming, especially for practices with a large client base.

    Adding a search function here would make the process faster and more efficient, helping you get straight to work.

    This idea is now in the Gaining Support stage. Your votes and comments help us understand how valuable this feature is to the wider Xero community and support future development decisions.

  13. Since the XPM update (April 2025) milestones in XPM are now at the bottom of jobs. They should be at the top of the job (as they were previously) so that they are one of the first things we see on a job. We use milestones to remind us of important filing dates so relegating this to the bottom of jobs requires too much scrolling and is very frustrating.

  14. To stop the autocorrection for daylight saving in the Timer. I know only happens twice a year, but is very frustrating trying to enter time when the Timer keeps adding (or removing) an hour from the time entered. For example - when enter 09.00 in the Start time, jumps to 10.00; then when enter 10.00 in End time, both the Start and End time jump to 11.00.
    Please can have corrected so the time does not autocorrect.

We should be able to customise this invoice date order as a default setting, it opens in no order and having to click on the Due Date twice every time to get the invoices in order of latest to oldest to check before billing on every client is a real pain and waste of time when we have to do it so often.
    We would appreciate you looking at making this a customisable setting very soon, thank you

  19. Companies House sync - Client Onboarding

    Would like to see a Companies House sync for this. Our current PM system has this facility and it saves so much time (and is accurate). Also used as a check when submitting annual CS01 forms. We are considering moving to XPM and this would seal the deal

  20. Currently Quotes are not able to be sent directly for e-sign acceptance (i.e. clients will need to print physical copy of quote, sign and email back unless they have access to adobe sign). It would be an improvement if quote can be sent to Xero Sign for signing and audit trail. Alternatively, it would also be great if clients can accept/decline from the quote email.
