  3. Invoice (Draft) Report does not have the field for Job Name. What's the point having having Job Number without a Name. Please add Job Name to this report.

  4. Why can' this be done? We have migrated onto Xero - the only way to get history in is to manually key - incredibly time-consuming and not chargeable. Its become a slow process to shift as a result.

  5. The chart of accounts - the base chart is too sparse. Having worked with MYOB and we all know that this is too much information but the one thing I would have to say is that there has never really been a time that I have had to create an account really - they are all available and have been thought of. Whats more in Xero after creation you have to manipulate the advisor reports to fit it in. Simple things like an asset sale - no default accounts? Silly. Why not make this global.     1. Can recurring jobs mention on the job that they are a recurring job?
      E.g. in the job number, could be RJ123456 / JR123456 / J123456 (R) or noted somewhere else obvious on the job, that will appear when exporting job details?

    2. Can the create/amend recurring job section include job custom fields, so we don't need to complete on each individual job?

  7. When a schedule or such is saved in a recurring entry, it would be nice if it remained there when using the entry. As it is now, the journal entry will not have any backup unless you reattach.

  8. We currently can drag and drop details in the bank rec screen to populate fields. As the OCR in Hubdoc is not so polished yet, if we can have a similar drag and drop feature would be immense in using Hubdoc to process transactions as this would cut down on the data entry.

  12. Prefill contact name of partner or manager to the Tax return cover page.

    Purpose: To help with changeover of managers of clients and when there is staff turnover or promotions of staff.

    As currently goes it rolls over from the prior year return and a change in staff or manager require it to be changed manually. Having the contact name prefill from the client details page when the update of a new manager is allocated to the client. This can be set to be either the partner or manager through a check box stating which name to prefill.

  14. Problem: Xero connected to the ATO for activity statements. Client prepares monthly IAS (PAYGW only), Adviser prepares quarterly BAS (GST and one month's PAYGW). Adviser has to disconnect from ATO to finalise BAS in Xero and import into Xero Tax (to be able to send to the client for electronic signing and then making lodgement to the ATO).

    Solution: make it possible to finalise the AS in Blue Xero without disconnecting from the ATO, allowing Client to continue submitting IAS to ATO from within Xero and Adviser to import into Xero Tax to send for e-signing and lodgement.

  15. Invoices raised in XPM have a Category field but Miscellaneous invoices do not. This creates two main issues:
    - Miscellaneous invoices are not included in XPM invoice reports against a Category
    - Miscellaneous invoices are "unallocated" when they sync across to Blue Xero. At that point, they need to be manually amended for reporting purposes. Can the "Category" field be added please?

  16. Xero to automatically log the time you spend in each client and summarise monthly/ average 12 monthly.

    No stop/start. 10 minute auto logout.

    Advantages: no additional work for the user
    Disadvantages: not an exact science.

    Hi Sandra, could you provide a bit more detail of the idea you have here? Would this be for the ability to automatically reconcile transfer transactions from one bank account to another?

  18. Can you please make it possible for firms to be able to remove the pop up/reminders from our screen? We should be able to remove it once on our xero screen and then it doesnt appear for any other client. Or maybe after removing it three times then it goes away. I think its a bit strange you keep reminding accountants there is increase to the provisional tax threshold each time we open a clients GST return.
