  1. Need to have the ability to add prospect relationships - currently if both spouses are added as prospects, you can't then link them as spouses in the relationships section. However, if one spouse is already a client then you can link the prospect as a relationship... this seems like an oversight in the platform. Need to be able to link prospects as spouses/family etc.

  2. Xero don't currently have specific SMSF fields available to report on in the Report Builder.

  3. We would like to upload our own Engagement/Disengagement Letters/Privacy Notice, etc into HQ, is this something that would be useful for other Accountants/Bookkeepers? Are there plans to be able to do this in the future?

  4. P&L - Tracking categories (cost centres) in rows and analized per periods (in columns) . When I run this report on xero, it shows me in the same column (period and cost centre), the cost centre should be displayed in rows. Really annoying that this option does not work properly as its impossible to analyse anything.

  6. Edit Jobs Screen Filters: In the XPM jobs screen it is possible to created and save filters. However it is not currently possible to edit those filters, only clear them and start again. Please provide the functionality to edit existing filters. Thanks in advance, Petra.

  7. Instead of having to add users in three places (HQ, Workpapers & Tax), have the ability to add them once and this then flow through to the additional tools in use at the practice

  8. It would be great if we had the ability to create our own groups within the staff screen in Xero HQ. At the moment we have filters for standard, administrator, master administrator and then also staff that have been invited but not yet accepted.

    It would be useful if we could create our own custom staff groups. For example by office location: London, Glasgow, Manchester etc. or by function within the business: Accounts, Audit, Tax etc.

    Staff could belong to different groups as well, Glasgow and Audit or London and Tax.

  10. Can the Directors, Shareholders and Shares held, beneficiaries, Trustees etc in XPM be available to import into the Financial Statements template so it can stop you having to create custom fields with this information to report on?

  11. We are in the process of organizing our client list for Audit Shield and like many other accounting firms we need to assign our clients a Turnover category. Currently Xero informs me there is no report I can run that will list the clients and their turnover for me to easily identify which category to assign to the client for audit purposes.

    A report that shows the client, their income/turnover and the possibility to group and total buy the Client Group would be amazing and save so much unnecessary admin time.

  13. When we send out an Activity Statement, a tax return, an fbt return, etc... is it possible to CC another contact? (one that isn't required to e-sign but is required to see the return and payment information and just be kept in the loop in general)

  14. For Practise Accounts
    have one section for internal notes on the client that can be updated
    - Files can be attached but not updated
    - Notes in a Report Text Box are only specific to that report
    Need a permanent place that I can add notes, instructions, updates to my staff dealing with a client

  15. I would like to see the Job Manager in the Home page of the jobs workflow. At the moment you can only Filter by Manager, however I want to see the status of all of my jobs with the manager in a column out to the side.

  16. It would be incredibly useful if there was the ability to create folders in HUBDOC to file published documents. This would make it easier to find any documents for the future as at present they are just in one longs list. For someone who heavily uses HUBDOC this list is never ending and almost impossibly to find documents that were uploaded historically.

  17. We suggest to add the option to view TAX return versions when modifications are made to the return.
    We have found through our work that is an URGENT need to track changes made to returns for efficient audit and accountability.

  18. Dropbox integration needs to include business Dropbox accounts. HubDoc is used by Businesses so it would make sense for the integration to be with Dropbox business. Currently only works with Personal Accounts.

  19. There is no option to export a group of clients appearing on the screen. We have different managers managing different groups of xero clients and they need to see this rather than export the whole client list and having to sort on excel

  20. This is to do with Custom Reports and should be little effort for a good result.

    I note that after discussions with Xero the [Tax Return AU] Not Started Returns field is only available in the Client Returns report. It would be great to have [Tax Return AU] Not Started Returns in the Tax Return report area so you could generate a report on which returns have been started, in addition to the current status of the ones that have been started (ie Draft, Complete, Lodged) at the moment we can only see if a tax return has been created…
