  1. Can you please allow Estimated Billing dollar amounts and WIP data to be accessed by third party approved apps.

    We have FYI Docs connected and they integrate with Xero Job Manager. They can only show WIP on jobs as time amounts not dollar values. Seeing actual WIP in hours is pretty much useless.

    This is critical for our practice as we use FYI Docs Job Manager. We currently have to also have a excel document running along side it that needs manual updating so we can view Estimated Billable amounts on jobs compared to the budget.

  2. Request ability for individual users to view their own time recorded under Business Menu without having visibility of all other practice users. There are custom reports you can build to report on time recording but the problem is you can't easily see the total time recorded per day for each staff member for the previous or current week, to check for any gaps. It's not ideal for monitoring time recording, whereas the view under Timesheets in the Business menu is much easier to see at a glance if any days are blank or short in time. However, it is not…

  3. When using Xero Workpapers, it imports the figures across from the Xero client file without decimals. Therefore, when I'm comparing these figures in Workpapers to client reports and bank statements these are often slightly out.

    Can you please update Workpapers so that there is an option to show decimal places?

  4. Ability to report on all fields in XPM. Example, Fee from Refund. Odd to have fields available that no way can be used in any reports or export of data.

  5. Can job custom fields please be added to recurring jobs? We have set up fields for required information, but becomes pointless if they can't be added to recurring jobs as well. Will also save staff a bunch of time if they can add the info when setting up the recurring job, rather than looking for the information at a later time.

  7. No option to select 'File MTD VAT Return' in bulk for clients when setting up a new staff member in Xero HQ. After assigning the clients in bulk for a new staff member you have to then go into each client individually to give this permission.

  8. It would be great to have the ability to change the issue date for draft invoices created in Practice Manager. The only way to do this is to delete the invoice and re-create it which can be very time consuming. The Due date can stay as the company's default, and update according to the new issue date.

  9. Would be very helpful to have repeating tasks within a job. For example, if doing work for a client over the financial year there are a list of tasks every month. There is no effective solution when there are different staff assigned to different task within the client job. Repeating tasks with staff assigned for the year would allow you to keep track of what has been done & what still needs to be done for each month. (Monthly checklist for July, Aug, Sept,...)

    Currently the only solution is to have a set of tasks and un-tick these each month.…

  10. Xero Sign: Add Template for sending packs and Add a text box option for documents within a document pack:

    Is there any way to set up an 'Email Template' message for when we send out our packs? I can't find anywhere to do this is xero or Xero HQ or Ask. We would like to set up a standardised message for your annual accounts...

    Hi everyone, thanks for your support in the idea here. Reading over there are 2 separate requests in the one thread

    • Ability to create a default email template for sending document packs 
    • A text box on single documents in a pack 


    We have another idea that's been started around the default email template across here and I invite all those interested to add their votes. 

    For the thread here I've updated the title slightly for the Text box on individual documents so we can track the interest in each of these separately. 

  11. Automatic Activity Statements - Partner/Manager Fields.
    Is there a way for the creation of Automatic Activity Statement Jobs to have the Partner and Manager for the entity pre-filled on generation?
    It is time consuming to go through each AAS Job and assign Partner/Manager so it appears in worklists.

  12. Support documents uploaded to a workpaper are listed at the bottom of a workpaper in the order they are uploaded in, it would be a handy feature to be able to reorganise uploaded documents as needed for ease of review and keeping items in say account or alphabetical order.

  13. Hubdoc App. Can we have the ability to hide archived documents. Or create a separate tab similar to the web version. Another option is to make archived documents dim so clients are aware that the documents are processed and are in Xero.

  16. BAS & IAS Filters.
    We would like to be able to setup filters to separate BAS's & IAS's that have the same due date.
    There is the option in the filter, tax type, to select 'Business Activity Statement' or 'Instalment Activity Statement', however, all Activity Statements are listed as tax type AS. We would like to be able to change the tax type to either be BAS or IAS.

Currently when XPM gets the Summary of Earnings information from IRD and imports this into the XPM tax return, this imports all the names of where they have earned income from in CAPITAL LETTERS. This isn't very friendly to the eye and we will often go in and rename each of these imported lines so they look nicer.
    Or if these aren't edited, but other data is added e.g. business income, then the format won't match.
    All caps is very ugly!

    It would be great if XPM would import automatically with first letter in capital letter and the rest in…

  20. Revise Activity Statement / IAS via Xero when a client has lodged their own IAS/BAS. It would be beneficial for tracking purposes if Xero offered the facility to unlock a submitted BAS/IAS to review & amend and relodge with the ATO. Whilst these can be revised via ATO Portal there is no tracking or record of an amendment in Xero
