    When you view a group in XPM it shows you the recipients, the phone and address fields, it would be amazing if the mail email address was also displayed.

  2. Xero Practice Manager - Tax

    I want to be able to run two reports to see which staff have tax access to which clients and to see to which clients a staff member has tax access. This is very important for security purposes and additionally to help us meet our obligations as tax agents.

  4. Please can you provide a way of detecting when a contact has been deleted in XPM. It's provided on the client list api as IsDeleted for clients, but not for contacts. An IsDeleted prop on the contacts would be very useful. Unless someone knows another way of getting this info?

  5. Would be good when using the Xero report templates that when net assets balances are negative that a Going Concern note is included in the accounting policies to the notes to the financial statements.
    This seems to be an automated process on most accounting packages that we have used but very much a manual process through Xero.

  6. Need the ability to be able to add a filter in the Returns page to look at a client group.

    Predominately will be used for bulk status updates, but I'm sure others could find more uses:

    • approval of a group (sometimes approval from each individual return is not appropriate)
    • "out to sign" once a pack is sent via FuseSign etc.

    Would also be useful for a quick snapshot of where the group is up to instead of having to run a report or open the taxable group to see.

Would it be possible to integrate a feature where the workpapers notify the user that there may be Xero accounts that have balances in the relevant year that have not pulled through to any of the workpapers being used (say for example because the report codes mapping for a new account has not been set up properly)?

  9. The ability to file AIM returns on a cash basis is important for clients for cash flow purposes. Some clients deal with large invoices that don't get paid out within the same period they are issued. This can inflate their tax figure for the period and strain their cash flow until they get paid.

  11. So annoying that my published reports remove decimals points every time. PLEASE MAKE THIS CHANGE. Published reports should be saved as is!!! Do not modify my published report XERO! We produce hundreds of these reports every month and have to keep adding the decimal back. This is driving our firm insane!!!

  13. Bulk edit milestones
    I am trying to utilise the Important Dates page in the Job Manager and there is older jobs that are clogging up the page with overdue milestones that no longer apply. How to I remove all of these in a bulk process? There is over 3000 milestones that need to be removed. Currently support has told me there is no way of doing this apart from deleting each milestone on each job one by one.

  16. Client Relationships Report
    Currently, the custom report allows the user to add the Related Client's Name only. Would be good to be able to include a unique identifier as well for the related client, such as the Export Code for that related client.

  17. to run a report that pulls the History of tax returns into it, including:
    1. Staff member who prepared the return, and date prepared.
    2. Staff member who lodged the return, and date lodged
    Currently if we run the report builder, it only can show account manager's name, it doesn't seem to have the option to show lodgment person's name.

  18. I have an international client who has just switched to Xero but their main business is in Switzerland (complicated tax rules). Can Xero provide add an add-on to Swiss Xero users to comply with the tax rules there.

  19. When completing Bank Reconciliations (especially for those customers with 5+ bank accounts) it would be useful to see an indicator of Unreconciled Items in the drop-down list at the top left corner of the screen. This could either be the number of unreconciled items, or simply an asterisk to indicate there are items to be reconciled.

    I often use this drop-down to switch between their most-used bank accounts, but if there was something to indicate which accounts still have unreconciled items, this would be immensely helpful and save a lot of time switching back to the main Bank Accounts screen…

  20. We have the AS' downloaded from ATO automatically and this creates a new job for every AS. We then need to add an AS task to every job individually.

    Would be great to be able to add task/s to multiple jobs in one go - similar to how you can assign staff/manager to multiple jobs in one go.
