  1. add overpayments to the filter feature so that these can excluded - this is especially helpful when transactions are posted to overpayments whilst awaiting o/bs from last year, so we don't want it to affect amounts due for bills/invoices being posted for the current FY

  2. It would be great if we could have the ability to apply multiple relationships to a single entity at once, perhaps as a multiple checkboxes. So for example, when setting up a company, we might have one person who is the Director, Secretary, Public Officer and Shareholder but at the moment we need to add these in one at a time.

  3. Would be good if there was an option to reorder the pages in a tax return, primarily to be able to bring the tax estimate to the front page of the tax return as that tends to be the key information the client wants to see and it is buried at page 3 or 4 of the tax return when printed.

    When you view a group in XPM it shows you the recipients, the phone and address fields, it would be amazing if the mail email address was also displayed.

  5. Change Capacity under Settings/Practice to allow for Saturday and Sunday so that on the Dashboard for Time Summary the time entered on Saturday and Sunday shows and is reflected in the Productivity circle on the Dashboard

  6. I use 'client groups' extensively in HQ. I need to see which clients are not in a group at all, and which ones are in more than one group, but this is not possible. Please allow us to report on which groups each client is in.

    Hi community, just jumping in here to share that we have recently made an improvement to the groups feature in Xero HQ 🎉
    Within a Client record, you can now see what groups they belong to, and add or remove them - check out this article for more information. Please note, this is not available as a report, but is available on a client by client basis.

    While the team have been really busy working on the single client record, they also hope to introduce a Groups list and group details (similar to what is currently available in XPM) to increase the ability to manage Groups within HQ. We’ll be sure to return & update you here when that’s available.

    Hey community, thanks for you interest in this idea. 

    Wanted to let everyone know about a change to document packs in Xero HQ 😊

    Whilst not quite what this request is after, if you're a member of a UK, NZ or AU practice, you'll now be able to send out bulk reminders for document packs in Xero HQ.

    As this request is specifically for bulk reminders in AU Xero Tax, I won't be closing it out. We'll leave it open to continue to collect feedback and gauge community interest.

  8. We suggest to add the option to view TAX return versions when modifications are made to the return.
    We have found through our work that is an URGENT need to track changes made to returns for efficient audit and accountability.

  10. Just wondering if there is anything in the pipeline at all where you could potentially upload support documents, receipts, invoices etc behind the tax return item item while in the ITR. Would be a very handy function for individual tax returns.

  12. It doesn't make sense that these are part of the same privilege checkbox.
    Marking something as Approved is something that a senior person (manager/partner) is responsible for.
    Marking something as Out to Sign is something that an administration person is responsible for.
    Options are:
    Give the admin person the privilege and they can approve something they shouldn't be able to (risk to firm).
    Not give the admin the privilege and the manager has to log back into Xero Tax to mark it as out to sign after the admin person has packaged it up and sent it out (waste of…

  14. Would love to be able to re-arrange line items in Tax Returns as we have everything listed in alphabetical order. In HandiSoft, we could click and drag lines.

    Example situation:

    Shares in 2020
    BOQ
    CBA
    WBC

    Shares in 2021
    ANZ
    BOQ
    CBA
    WBC

    To add in ANZ, we need to delete BOQ, CBA and WBC, add in ANZ and then re-add BOQ, CBA and WBC. Very time consuming if there are multiple lines to add.

  15. Simplified view of outstanding receipts that need to be processed to the accounting software ie numbers reflected in the top tabs.
    Currently it is hard to get a quick view of what needs to be accomplished in hubdoc and what has already been done.

  16. Some of the field labels in a report don't match the field in the profile, which can cause confusion, incorrect reports and more time spent on building reports than needed.

    For example, on a client profile, we have the 'Partner' and 'Manager', however, when trying to report on these fields, they are called 'Account Manager' and 'Job Manager'.

    It would make reporting easier if all labels/titles matched or at least referred to them, e.g. Account Manager (Partner).

  17. The option to have a draft automatically created when a recurring job is generated. Such as for GST and AIM.

  18. When completing Bank Reconciliations (especially for those customers with 5+ bank accounts) it would be useful to see an indicator of Unreconciled Items in the drop-down list at the top left corner of the screen. This could either be the number of unreconciled items, or simply an asterisk to indicate there are items to be reconciled.

    I often use this drop-down to switch between their most-used bank accounts, but if there was something to indicate which accounts still have unreconciled items, this would be immensely helpful and save a lot of time switching back to the main Bank Accounts screen…

  19. I am wanting to run a weekly report which lists any lodged returns that have been ticked as Final Returns in the return itself. This will then trigger a set of tasks to wind up the client (ie ASIC deregistrations etc).

  20. Ability to add a default accountant's signature in the accountants' report. This would mean that the we do not have to sign each and every report before sending to client to approve and sign the balance sheet.
