  2. I am wanting to run a weekly report which lists any lodged returns that have been ticked as Final Returns in the return itself. This will then trigger a set of tasks to wind up the client (ie ASIC deregistrations etc).

  3. Ability to add a default accountant's signature in the accountants' report. This would mean that the we do not have to sign each and every report before sending to client to approve and sign the balance sheet.

  4. We are a firm of accountants and have a number of husband and wife landlord clients who own rental property jointly.

    Will one version of the software be able to split the rental figures and submit two MTD returns, or will they need their own version of the software each and have to manually halve the figures where the income is paid into one joint bank account?

    It would be so much easier if the software could automatically halve the figures and submit two MTD returns.

  5. XeroTax: Showing Client ID Code on Client page and being able to search by Client CODE, TFN, ABN, Mobile.

    We have many clients with the same name and we have to keep manually looking through their details to make sure they are the right client.

  7. In Xero HQ as a partner we have Report Templates which we can use for our clients. Currently, it only allows us to export to PDF or Excel or Google Sheets.

    It would be useful. helpful and beneficial for practitioners to be able to export it to WORD format so that we can re-format the font type, font size and header and footer styles..

  8. Xero Practice Manager - Tax

    I want to be able to run two reports to see which staff have tax access to which clients and to see to which clients a staff member has tax access. This is very important for security purposes and additionally to help us meet our obligations as tax agents.

  10. I have 19 rental properties with 19 separate AT&T internet bills monthly. There needs to be a method within Hubdoc to automate publishing each receipt to a uniqueTracking Category each month. Right now it is all manual and very time consuming.

  12. It would be great to have an option to prepare a CT600 only: We prepare a number of accounts for friendly societies so don't file accounts for them, but we do need to file CT600s for them.

  13. Xero currently defaults to print/show TFNs on 2017 or older returns (eg Show TFN ticked). However it defaults to NOT print/show on 2018 - 2023 returns. We have been told this is something we cannot change in our settings, it would be a much safer option if we were able to control this setting, or at least have it all operating the same way.

  14. we use job numbers to identify the works being carried out so I entered the Job number in Contacts against the Client name but this number comes out on the invoice against the client name on the address block. It would be good to be able to have multiple jobs nos for each client so we can identify the job no. on the Customer page

  15. Xero workpaper would also show the actual file report and not just the links when exporting the workpaper. This is only available for files uploaded to the workpaper. Our practice uses FYI docs where all the relevant schedules, documents, and files are uploaded and we simply link it to Xero Workpapers. This is also helpful for practices who are using cloud storing services for documents and files.

  18. At the moment Hubdoc extracts supplier name only which makes it tricky to use for processing sales invoices as the customer has to be manually selected and has no default settings. If Hubdoc could also extract customer name, it would really help with AR processing.

  19. Ability to enter historical Ad-Hoc time. If entering ad-hoc time for yesterday or older - you have to enter as todays date, then edit the entry to change the date.

    Would be much easier to have the option to select the date in the initial posting - rather having to edit.

  20. Ability to amend or remove some of the system data fields such as 'Year end date'. Not all clients need a year end date (for example if they have just signed up for some consulting work). We have successfully used 'custom fields' to tailor XPM to match our client database needs and it would be great to also have control over some of the custom fields to remove as we don't need all of them.
