  1. Due to issues with staff editing recurring jobs but not updating the job name and/or description I would like to see the staff permissions for recurring jobs amended to have a dropdown list so we can limit staff access to editing recurring jobs but leave access to view, create and delete in the same way as with clients.

  2. When drafting AIM reports in XPM, it would be helpful if you could hover over the box number and it lists the accounts that are being mapped there as opposed to changing report codes in blue Xero and continually having to update the AIM report to see if accounts are mapping correctly.

  3. Stop dating in 1900s.
    Today I typed in the date 5/3/25. Click on the little calendar that appears, the month says March 25. Click on 5 March 25.

    Hubdoc interprets this as the year 1925.

    I dont think there are many people entering receipts from 100 years ago.
    Please remove those last century calendars from Hubdoc.

    While you fix that, since the Hubdoc file is linked to a Xero file can you also stop hubdoc processing into a closed year. It warns you AFTER it's been sent to Xero, then doesn't let you correct it because of the status -…

    It's best if an idea is specific to one feature request so that others know what they're voting for and to help product better understand the interest for a feature.

    We have a separate idea around the lock dates that I've just added your vote for across here. We don't have any plans for this but if any are made I'll let you know, there.

  4. A quick link from this years (active) workpaper pack to last years (archived) workpaper pack for this client would be so useful and save so much time. Accessing prior year (archived) workpapers is such a 🥴 workflow at present.

    Ideally this would be available on the Workpapers page (where you can see all workpapers) and take you to the same for last year, and it would be available on every individual workpaper page (and take you to that same page for last year).

  7. Hi Xero Support,

    We've been generating individual e-invoice from Xero/Invoici for months, however, we could not find any report on e-invoice generated through Xero/Invoici.

    This report could help us in ensuring accuracy of the data exported to MyInvois portal. We would require a specific report on the generated individual e-invoices to make sure that they tally with the sales invoices report from Xero.

  8. I know this is not critical for the reporting accuracy of Xero within, but it would be a great help to those who extract many times a report from Xero and have multiple clients handling. I hope Xero Support can find ways to be consistent in their naming convention by default. And not overriding names thru Report layouts. Thanks!

  10. It would be a huge help if overpayments on account could be created in bank rules, rather than just direct payments. It's very helpful in particular with clients who have a huge number of bank transactions to clear and a tendency to only provide partial records... If you could 'auto apply' a rule, for example "all outgoing money to Screwfix, put as an overpayment on the Screwfix account"

  11. Split the Payroll Admin role so you can have staff run payroll and reports - but do not have access to make changes to Salaries etc

    Or have it that all changes to key items like Salary has dual approval or alerts sent out to the main user so they can see if any changes have been made without permission

  14. As an accountant who used MYOB before, I found it quite convenient and smart by automatically set the report period the same as the last report that I generated so I don't need to type 01/07/20xx to 30/06/20xx every time when I am working on end of year accounts.

  16. Companies House sync - Client Onboarding

    Would like to see a Companies House sync for this. Our current PM system has this facility and it saves so much time (and is accurate). Also used as a check when submitting annual CS01 forms. We are considering moving to XPM and this would seal the deal

  18. When running reports, posting timesheets etc, it would be good for the client search function to search the entire name, rather than requiring exact input. Similarly, the ability to type a date in any format (e.g. DD/MM/YY), rather than being exact or using the calendar icon.
