Homepage - Not neurodiverse friendly
It would be great to have the option to display the widgets in list form, like the old display.
As a neurodiverse person, I work in lists. With the old version every time i logged in, i would work my way down the list of accounts, ensuring i would finish before moving onto the next. This is particularly important as we have over 10 accounts.
Currently the page feels cluttered and has no flow. I can speak for the neurodiverse community, that it is a struggle to go into the homepage and not feel overstimulated. Homepage - Reduce font size
Make the font smaller so I can see more on one page, instead of having to scroll down for days. It looks like a children's book! People should get glasses if they can't read the smaller font Xero used to have - back in the good old days!!

Homepage - View Account Transactions
Each account on the home page now has an added line "View Account Transactions".
This takes up more room - and therefore we see less accounts at a glance.
Have the option to remove this line - and we know we just click on the account - as per usual3 votesHi there 👋, just trying to better understand your feedback here can you share an image of what you're seeing? Right now the ability to 'View account transactions' is only shown from the 3 dot drop-down menu on a bank account, and shouldn't obscure your view of other widgets unless in the menu.

Add tax return discrepancies/errors widget to new homepage
On the old dashboard, it was very easy to quickly see if any tax returns had discrepancies or errors with the Tax Alerts function.
This made it easy to identify and resolve issues early. With the new homepage, that visibility is reduced, and these issues are more likely to be picked up later.
It would be really helpful to have this Tax Alerts functionality brought back as a widget or alert on the homepage, highlighting:
- Tax returns with errors
- Returns that differ
I think this would align well with the new homepage's focus on surfacing key actions and insights, especially…

Add a colored line to the bottom of each feed to quickly identify types of accounts. Checking, savings, or credit card account
Allow for a line at the bottom of each different type of account to quickly identify the different accounts such as checking, savings, credit cards etc.

last refresh date
For bank accounts, add the date that the account was last refreshed in Xero. Currently, it only shows the date of the last transaction, but I can't tell if my last feed failed or if there just weren't any new transactions. Seeing the last successful refresh would tell me if I need to refresh again.

Homepage | Bank account - Add year to the date format
Add the year to the date that is showing on the bank account widget. It gets confusing sometimes. Having 15 Feb 2026 would be easier than Feb 15.

To be able to change the chart of accounts to be length ways so you can see all the acounts on the home screen like they use to in other words resize the boxes.

Interest fees
I would like an option to be added onto Sales invoices/Debtors, that allows one to select "add interest fee" of 2.5% or 5% or 10% to a specific debtor/s who pay after 8th/10th of the month (38 days from statement/s & pending if 7th falls on a weekend)

Widget - Income YTD as compared to last year same time period. This allows a business to see how they are trending as compared to the previous year in the same time period.

Bank Transactions - Page number and Next/Previous Options on the top of the page
While on bank reconciliation page or on bank transactions page, we can see number of pages and also there is next and previous page option but these options only appear at the bottom of the page, it would be good to see these option on the top of the page as well.

widget
I'd like to see a widget that allows a note to be added to the homepage, it doesn't need to be complicated, just like a sticky note so clients and our team can see any bespoke needs for the account. It could be used for so many different things and be informal. A bit like the discuss box but as an overall discuss widget.

HomePage Idea - New Update
I would recommend this main command like Purchases, Sales, Payroll, Tax Account, Banking should be on the top dashboard; however, its look is very clear, simple, and convenient similar to the old Xero.

The old Xero Homepage had a Business Performance/Current Ratio widget/icon, showing an overall progressive graph/tracker line of the Business Cash liquidity current ratio. The new Xero homepage does not have this option anywhere that I can see it. ...?

Bank feed showing as last updated Jan 1 but it used to show that no bank feed had been set up.
Bank feed showing as last updated Jan 1 but it used to show that no bank feed had been set up. Please can we go back to the more meaningful description.
I've been asking new clients to check their bank feed when I should have still been chasing them to set it up. Now they're totally confused.
