Bare Trust Structure Option
We would like to request the addition of a "Bare Trust" business structure option within the Business Structure field on the main client page in Xero Partner Hub.
Currently, Bare Trusts must be classified under the broader "Trust" category, which makes it difficult to accurately identify and report on these entities separately. As a result, additional manual processes and workarounds are required to distinguish Bare Trusts for reporting, workflow management, and compliance purposes.
Introducing a dedicated "Bare Trust" structure would improve reporting accuracy, streamline internal workflows, and reduce the administrative time spent manually identifying these entities. This enhancement would assist practices that manage Self-Managed Superannuation Fund (SMSF) property structures and other arrangements where Bare Trusts are commonly used.
We believe this addition would provide greater flexibility and efficiency for firms managing a diverse range of entity structures within Xero Partner Hub.
