Quote - Ability to have quote reminder

Add feature to automatically follow up on quotes / send quote reminder *days before expiry or *days after quote issued — as there is with invoices. This feature comes standard with most other quoting interfaces.

Hi community, we understand how being able to send quote reminders like you can for invoices, would help with following up on uncommitted work with your customers and potentially locking in sales.

For the time being, as many will be aware you can resend a quote that’s already been sent, by clicking the 3 dot menu in the top right and choosing ‘Send’, where you’ll have the option to change the email and who it’s being addressed to.

This is something we have intentions of diving into discovery for this year and I’ll return to share more news when things progress. Thanks

    This is a great Idea, was just speaking to my assistant about something like this being a real big help. Definitely be keen to have this feature.

    Hey @RhiannaHarby, not sure why you commented that here.. that’s already a thing.. and new ideas must be put up separately too, this is specifically for an automated follow up on sent quotes.

    Also to add an accept decline button quotes - its a very manual process to go in and find the quote then click accept or decline once the client has advised their decision. Can the client do this on the quote too?

    As a product and serviced based business this is a seriously lacking feature that should be standard. Xero PLEASE and this to your next update, this will not take much effort to roll out and will benefit many companies.

    Can you do this yet?! When I enquired it was a known thing, the community request pages had changed over and it hadn’t gone with them.. I made a new one, your paying customers want it, when can it be implemented?

    Quote reminders are essential to our business also & I agree that I feel we miss out on Quote follow-ups. I wouldn't think this would be such a big deal especial when you can send follow-up Invoices?

    As a business we send around 60 quotes per week, we feel we are missing out on winning business due to no quote reminder function.

    Quote reminder is a much needed thing. Xero should add this important yet very simple and easy feature to make things easy for Xero users. Other competitors offer this feature.

    It would really help in progressing quotes, avoiding backlogs and reducing the need to re-quote when clients forget to accept on time

    For a company that processes more than 100 new quotes a week, this will be a very helpful tool.
