Sales Invoice | Expected Dates - Bulk Update
The "Planned Dates" feature in Bills to Pay works extremely well. Key element is that you can bulk update dates as required from a multiple selection.
The "Expected Date" feature has the same potential but also needs to be able to update invoice "Expected Dates" in bulk.
Invoices cannot be updated in bulk from Short Term Cashflow if a part-payment has been made against that invoice. Also, you can't update invoices Expected dates if they are not due yet.
Hi everyone, we're continuing to keep an eye on the interest this idea's received however at this time want to be upfront that bulk update of Expected dates for invoices isn't on the roadmap.
Just to highlight for those that have more recently joined in here - You can currently bulk add expected dates to invoices within Short-term cash flows, however as noted here you can't add dates to invoices or bills that are partially paid, have credit notes applied or are dated within a locked period.
We'll continue to track the interest for this idea and share if there's any change planned.

Within Sales overview › Invoices, Please allow batch updates to expected payment dates. At present I have to amend each expected payment date individually on each individual invoice. This is so laborious. Please create an option to be able to tick multiple invoices (from differing clients) to input the same expected payment date. It is essential we update these dates for cashflow purposes but it takes so long doing it one by one.

Jumping on this to agree - it would be so useful to have "planned dates" for customers paying invoices in bulk. I can't add a planned date per invoice for customers paying 25+ invoices with one remittance - it would take too much time and add 1 note per invoice to the customer's page, which would just be ridiculous.
This feature would be so simple, yet so helpful.

I completely agree with the need for being able to do a bulk update of customer expected payment dates. It works perfectly for inputting payment dates for bills, i cant understand why this also wouldn't be a feature in sales invoices.
