Invoice - Total item quantity on invoice

Invoice - A total items line in invoices would be extremely helpful for our clients to be able to reconcile inventory sent with the invoice.

    Display a sum total of all quantities at the bottom of invoice and picking slip!!!

    I work in an industry where it is important to show the total quantity in my invoices. I have created an advanced custom invoice but there is no field for “total quantity” that can be added. However “total quantity” is a field that can be added to an advanced custom quote. It would be great if such a field could be added to invoices too

    I can't insist on how important this is to my company to have the total of qty in the invoice and Quotes. Trust me when I say, We have already started exploring options to switch to Sage, its a shame such a simple request hasn't been resolved till date/

    This is not a "nice to have" feature. Its essential. One of my clients is considering leaving Xero because of this omission. Why isn't this recognised?

    This is urgent for me in the UK. Some of my clients insists on it as part of their Supplier Manual and I have to add manually - with a fine if I forget.,

    I love Xero, but I 100% agree—it’s frustrating. I’ve been asking Xero support for years for the same feature: the ability to include product quantities in quotes and invoices. It’s so time-consuming having to manually calculate quantities just to avoid errors, and in the end, we’ve had to use other software that actually does it.

    The total of quantity is essential, and if it can't be added as standard, at least allow it in the custom docx templates.

    Have clients who want to match invoice totals to waybill totals so need this asap.

    My client has been asking for this and so have their customers in turn. It makes sense to be able total everything on an invoice, not just the cost.

    Important to ensure invoice entry is correct, total number of units sold for packing quality assurance and for customer records
