    This is not a "nice to have" feature. Its essential. One of my clients is considering leaving Xero because of this omission. Why isn't this recognised?

    My client has been asking for this and so have their customers in turn. It makes sense to be able total everything on an invoice, not just the cost.

    Hi community, while we're continuing to keep a close eye on the support for this idea here, we don't have any plans in the near term to control the naming of files sent form Xero.

    Just to share, though appreciate many will already be aware, once the file is received and downloaded by the recipient the file name can be manually edited on their local device.

    If there are any plans made we'll share here.

    Hi everyone, thanks for your feedback on the ability for employees to approve timesheets.

    Payroll is definitely an area we know needs more permission controls. This is something our product teams are beginning to explore and do deeper research of.

    We'll keep you updated as our team progresses through the discovery work.

    Agreed. Dividends are part of the appropriation of a company's profit. This is basic stuff - an essential rather than a "nice to have". You shouldn't have to customise a report to show dividends in the right place!

    Hi team, we've been following the conversation for being able to assign a tracking category to each account in the Chart of Accounts, and we appreciate everyone here who's taken time to share their feedback.

    We understand manually assigning tracking categories to every line of a transaction is time-consuming and can lead to errors. 

    While not the direct idea asked here, it may help some to know that you can set a default account and tracking on individual contacts. On the flip side once transactions have been entered Find and recode is another feature that could possibly be useful to some here (however we'd recommend checking in with your advisor and testing in the demo org, before using in your own). 

    We want to be transparent with you here that though this idea has been carefully reviewed, like other areas of Xero the Chart of Accounts page initially…
