New Invoicing - Files - 'View' and 'Delete' UI
There is a significant design flaw in the new Files UI:
1. The delete button will remove an attachment on a single click, rather than prompting a confirmation.
2. The 'View' file button is directly next to the delete button increasing the chance of accidentally clicking delete instead. Given the point above there's no way of recovering the attachment as clicking it will instantly remove that file.
In the old invoicing you could simply click the file name to view rather than clicking a 'View' button. The delete button was under a cog and initiated a second click to confirm deletion of an attached file.

This new Files UI clearly introduces a usability and safety issue because allowing attachments to be deleted with a single click and placing the View and Delete buttons side by side greatly increases the risk of accidental data loss, especially since there is no recovery or confirmation step. Reverting to the previous workflow—where clicking the file name opened the attachment and the delete option was hidden under a secondary menu with a confirmation prompt—would significantly improve user experience and prevent costly mistakes. Similar to how https://espacoinvisivel.com.br/
uses simple and clear interaction steps to avoid user errors when copying invisible characters, adding confirmation dialogs and better button separation here would make the interface safer and more intuitive. -

The new invoicing Files UI presents a clear usability concern, as allowing attachments to be deleted with a single click and placing the delete button directly beside the view option significantly increases the risk of accidental data loss with no recovery option. Reintroducing a confirmation step for deletions, separating the delete action into a secondary menu, and allowing users to click the file name to view—similar to the older invoicing experience—would greatly improve safety and usability, much like how well-structured websites such a https://swisschaletmenupricescanada.com/ prioritize clarity and prevent users from making unintended actions.

This is POOR design and thought.
Just get rid of the new invoicing. It's absolute rubbish.
