Contact - Ability for contacts' note to display when new transactions created
In the contact card - it would be good to have a "pop up" box that you can put notes in that appear in every field when you try to invoice a client or have a payment to make for a bill etc, that links to their contact card, as an alert for what you want the box to read. Super helpful for certain contacts only -but having this ability would be great
Hi Shirley, thanks for bringing this idea to the community. We can see how having contact notes surface automatically when creating a new invoice or bill could help reduce missed details during data entry.
At the moment, contact notes are stored within the contact record and can be viewed from the contact profile rather than appearing as a pop-up during transaction creation.
I've updated the status of this idea to Gaining Support so we can continue tracking interest from the community. If there are particular types of alerts or workflows where this would be most helpful, we'd love to hear more about them.

A contact-level alert or pop-up note that appears whenever a user creates an invoice, enters a bill, records a payment, or performs any transaction linked to that contact would be extremely valuable.
For businesses with multiple users, important client or supplier information can easily be missed if it's only stored within the contact record. Having a prominent alert would help ensure that critical instructions, payment terms, account requirements, special handling notes, or internal reminders are seen at the point of action.
Ideally, the feature could be enabled only for selected contacts and allow administrators to control whether the note is informational only or requires acknowledgement before proceeding.
This would improve communication, reduce errors, and create more consistency across teams.
