Future-dated sending: Users can schedule invoices or other correspondence for delivery at a chosen date and time, such as the start of business hours or agreed billing dates, ensuring communications arrive at optimal moments.
Batch scheduling: Multiple invoices or documents can be queued and released automatically in one or more scheduled runs, reducing manual intervention during busy billing periods.
System-wide scheduling option: Rather than limiting this to invoices only, scheduling would apply across all outgoing correspondence, including reminders, statements, and client updates, ensuring consistency across communication channels.
Flexible timing controls: Options for single send times, recurring schedules, or timed batches (e.g. hourly, daily, or end-of-day dispatch).
Review and edit window: Scheduled items remain editable or cancellable up to a defined cut-off point before release.
Audit trail and status visibility: Clear tracking of what is scheduled, sent, or pending, supporting accountability and compliance.
