Copying an invoice or quote link is logged as editing
Please change this process as it is not actually making any change to the invoice or quote. We're only copying the URL. I got in trouble because I was accused of making changes to an invoice when in fact I only copied the URL.

Hi Joseph, thanks for raising this. Simply copying an invoice or quote URL, without editing or saving any changes, should not create a History & Notes entry showing that the document was edited.
If you’re seeing an “Edited” entry after copying the URL, that isn’t expected based on the action you’ve described. Please raise a case with Xero Support so our team can investigate this with you. It would be helpful to include the document ID, the approximate time it happened, and the steps you took before the entry appeared.
