I would like to be able to group multiple lines on an invoice into one line. We use a lot of intercompany transactions and for accounting purposes it makes sense to allocate when we send out the invoice so we don't have to remember to allocate once payment is received. So it would be nice to be able to do our intercompany transactions ahead of time, then group the amounts and hide lines in the invoice, while still showing the total at the bottom. Or being able to group lines and reclassifying the description to include all of the items.

Think like a construction business. You charge labor and materials. For Xero i want to know what i charge for labor and materials separately, but I don't want the customer to see that information. So i would like to group the two together and show a total.

For our business we allocate sponsorship dollars between men women and youth organizations. But we receive the money into one org and the invoice will have 8 or 9 lines with balancing entries and intercompany transactions. The invoice looks messy.
