  1. NEW INVOICING
Add default bank accounts for adding a payment. Old invoicing automatically brought up your bank accounts. New invoicing-you have to sort through or search your whole chart of accounts for the bank account/s.

  2. Previously when making a payment once you added the payment it took you back to the awaiting payment screen (where it showed the name just paid and give you the option to send a receipt) now it takes you to the paid screen. This is a real pain when you are doing eft receipts for multiple clients.

Hi everyone, completely understand the logic and why you'd want to be returned to this screen once applying a payment. Our team have released an update so you'll now find you're taken to the Awaiting Payments list once a payment is applied to an invoice in new invoicing. Thanks for all sharing with us, here.

  3. Would be great to be able to turn off online payments for specific customers.
Would also be good to be able to choose which online payment methods we accept or dont accept rather than currently having to take them all or nothing.

  4. It would be great if a customer could pay more than one invoice on their account using stripe, perhaps when sending a statement there could be a link for Stripe to include all items in that statement, many of our customers have lots of small invoices that require payment at month end and it isn't practical to ask them to make individual payments

Hi everyone, we're pleased to pop into the idea here to share that this is now possible!

We recently released the ability to include a link for customers to view their Outstanding statement online.

If you have set up Stripe as a payment service from the online statement your customer will be able to select which invoices they'd like to pay 😊- See our Xero Central article for more of the detail

  5. The classic version allowed me to enter payments manually, I can't seem to see this feature with the new version.

Hi Mandy, it's in a slightly different place in new invoicing but on an approved invoice there is an 'Add payment button in the top right of the screen. This'll open a modal where you can enter payment details.

  6. Extend the Stripe integration from Pay Now button on emailed invoices to work with Stripe Terminal.

When a customer wants make a card payment in person, a Receive Payment button on the customer's invoice is used to share the Amount Due with Stripe Terminal. Once payment is complete, the invoice is marked as paid and the payout from Stripe processes in due course.

Hi everyone, offering our customers more methods to receive payments and get paid faster is important to us, and we're please to return with another update - we have now expanded our support for Tap to Pay with Stripe to all customers in AU, UK, US, NZ and CA supported on both Android and iPhone devices!

Read more about Tap to Pay on our website and reach out to our specialists at Xero Support if you have any questions. Thanks for your support and sharing on Xero Product ideas.

  7. Please allow us to collect ACH direct debit payments through Stripe, and not force us to use a 3rd solution (GoCardless) for that.

Stripe offers direct debit ACH when sending invoices directly from Stripe. There is no reason it shouldn't be available through Xero.

We’ll send you updates on this idea

Hi everyone, over the past year we've made a lot of updates to offer more ways for your customers to pay invoices with you. As you may have seen, we've released ACH debit for US organizations, a new payment method by Stripe.

This payment method allows you to accept direct bank payments on invoices, without costly card fees. Your customer can quickly authorize a one-time payment to be withdrawn from their bank account for the total invoice amount - all without leaving the invoice.

We appreciate users from regions outside US that have voted here, however with ACH being a US specific payment method we don't have any plans for extending this payment method more broadly.

  8. Ability to have multiple online payment options in one Invoice.

Purpose: The receiver of invoices will have more options on how they’re going to pay the invoices.

Thanks for your engagement on this, everyone. Our improvements to the way you manage your online payment methods in Xero, have now been released to all users.

With the new flow you can easily set up and access differing payment methods to your customers when sending invoices. With ability to choose to enable or disable the payment options you want to offer, you have more control. You can add multiple payment methods to an invoice(like Stripe and a connected app), giving your customers more choice in how they pay, so you can get paid on time.

  9. Add Klarna as a payment option within the Stripe/ Xero integration

  10. I would like to be able to assign a tracking category to the payment. I have the expense going to Tracking Category A but I want the payment from the bank account to go to Tracking Category B.

Hi team, I'm thrilled to confirm that the ability for your customers to pay invoices in bulk from an outstanding customer statement is now live to all customers!

When you email an outstanding statement to a customer it'll now have an option to 'Review and pay' taking them to an online view of the statement, and if you've set up Stripe as a payment service they'll be able to pay you in the moment 😁

Find out more on Xero Central. We thoroughly appreciate everyone's input, feedback and support for this through this product idea 🙏
