Payment Services - Ability to set Zip fee to be added on top of invoice amount
Please add option in Xero Payment Services to pass Zip transaction fees to customer on top of my invoice amount. At least most of the invoice amount will be paid to me.
Like Stripe card payment service, pop-up could prompt payee to accept the fee on top of invoice amount. The 5-8% zip fee is too high to absorb for my sole trader businesses.

8 votesHi everyone, though we appreciate you raising this idea with us, we don't have any intentions of supporting surcharging of Zip fees to customers from Xero invoices - There are some BNPL providers that have "no-surcharge" as part of their clauses, Zip being one of these. You can read more on their payment terms on Stripes website.

Stripe - Exclude Surcharge from Stripe Fee Calculation
I was wondering if it was possible to get surcharge not added into the total charge that stripe uses to get their processing fee. I always thought that the surcharge total would be like the money that they took their charge from which is why I added the surcharge anyway. It ends up being that stripe adds the surcharge in with the base charge on the customer invoice and then takes out their processing fee. I don't think that is right though. This is the way Stripe apply a surcharge on a payment.

Stripe - Invoice Xero user separately for Stripe fees
In an ideal world when a client pays us via Stripe 100% of the fee would be reconciled and XERO/Stripe would invoice us separately on a regular basis for the applicable Stripe fees.

Reviewing the idea here, we want to be open that this isn't something we will develop.
This is how Xero/stripe surcharges, and you can set the relevant % surcharge. Once the payment has processed the surcharge amount is paid as part of the payout amount.

Stripe - Add multiple stripe connections
We have multiple stripe accounts that we need to connect. It would be great to be able to add more than one strip payment processor that connects to two separate stripe IDs.

While we understand this capability was previously available, we want to be transparent that there are no plans in the near term to support connecting multiple Stripe accounts to a single Xero organisation.

Xero with Stripe: Support for Afterpay payments
Now that Stripe offers Afterpay, it would be helpful to add Afterpay to Xero's native Stripe integration.
60 votesHi team, apologies it's taken some time for us to round back here. While work was started on supporting Afterpay things have changed in this space and we no longer have direct plans for developing supporting Afterpay as a Buy Now Pay Later payment method.
Right now, for US, CA, UK and NZ there is the ability to offer Klarna as a BNPL method through Stripe which you can find out more about setting up in Xero Central.
If plans change in the future and this gets picked back up I'll be sure to come back with another update for you here.
