AU Payroll - Calculate a fixed net salary
When negotiating salaries It can be beneficial to express an amount net of tax and super. Xero does not calculate this other than imputing different amounts of gross wages to achieve a net figure close to required net amount.
Maybe something you could add to future upgrades.

Regarding salary payments in the last quarter, where net (after tax) salaries have been paid without using the Xero payroll pay-run feature, it would be a useful feature for Xero to be able to retrospectively calculate the PAYG withholding taxes based on the after tax salary paid, in preparation for ATO BAS lodgment. This would support employers to calculate PAYG withholding taxes where salaries have been paid without using the payroll pay-run feature in Xero. This can be built into the payroll feature.
