NZ Payroll - Make multiple draft pay runs
Ability to draft future payruns - ie more than 1 darft payrun. Especially at Christmas time. I would like to draft up future payruns before Igo on leave, but still have the ability to adjust this week payrun for overtime etc. At the moment I can't move forward until I complete current payrun. or i have to do un unscheduled payrun to fix it. Very time consuming

AU payroll super returned report -
With payday approaching, any employee contribution returned by fund should have some kind of report in Xero. LIke super payments returned which gives employee name, when the payment sent and when it was returned by the super fund

Hide archived employee names from drop down lists in Reporting unless specified to be included
Having the ability to view only current employee names in drop down lists in Reporting, unless archived employee names are also needed, would be great. Perhaps a tick a box to include archived names in the list?

The new timesheet - it would be great if the names can be in alphabetical order. Like they were on the previous version.

NZ Payroll - Customise descriptions on payslip
It would be beneficial for clients who pay commissions to be able to customise the description on the pay slip (rather than showing just 'Withholding Income') or having to set up various 'Pay Items'.

I'd like to have a report where I can see a list of all employees for a specific period with all items of pays paid to them in separate columns similar to the one in the attached EXcel.

To not get a national minimum wage error flag, when the error is because of Xero's rounding
As of this month, Xero is starting to check for national minimum wage for all employees which I am all for.
However it is very annoying to have several employees flagged as not being paid the NMW when it is entirely down to Xero's rounding. See attached screenshot.In this example, an employee gets paid for 6.5 hours at £12.21. Xero pays them £79.36 (rounded down from £79.365).
Xero's own NMW checker then flags this as below NMW because £79.36 is below £79.365.

UK Payroll - assign Tips (non direct) to non-expense account
For the Xero Payroll pay item "Tips (non-direct)", as tips paid by a customer's credit card belong to the staff, not employer (i.e. current liability rather than company expense), please could Xero adjust the allowed payroll settings to be set up so that "Tips (non-direct)" can be posted directly to a current liability account, rather than only to a company expense account, the latter currently being the only available option.

NZ Payroll - Ability to enter balance reducing deductions for all deduction and employment types
Work and Income deduction as a reducing balance under statutory deduction. Work and Income have provided a total amount and a weekly amount to be paid there needs to be a function added to provide the reducing balance, this function is available in other statutory deductions.

AU Payroll - Include a comparison field in Payroll Reports
Payroll reports - it will be good to have a COMPARISION field on payroll reports just like the P&L - to compare with previous n number of months / periods.
While the grouping / summarizing features are good - they are limited to just reporting on a particular period.
Hence any Comparisions are tedious to run / export and consolidate on excel.
For. eg. I'd like to run a report to display :
Afternoon Shift Loading & Overtime work for a month OR the full FY with monthly columns.

In situations where a contractor receives mixed payments (eg includes some exempt services), is it possible to apply GST only to the applicable gross earnings rather than automatically applying GST to the total earnings?

AU Payroll - Hide earnings rate on employees payslip
Add option to hide hourly rate on full time employee pay slips where they are using the "Base Salary" pay item.

Create New Timesheet Button / Timesheet Template
On the create timesheet tab once a new timesheet is created can we have "create a new timesheet button" added so that we dont need to go back to the timesheet to create a subsequent new timesheet, much in the same way as when you create a new invoice once approved a "create new invoice" button appears towards top of the screen. This would speed up the creation of multiple timesheets. UK Payroll - Don't send automated EPS returns
Like it says on the tin. Why do Xero send an unnecessary EPS each month when its not needed? If I want to change my payroll, great send the EPS when I approve it. If I make a late payment, send the EPS once I've finalised the payroll. But please stop sending pointless returns which makes me wonder what Xero is doing filing unnecessary data that is more likely to cause problems with HMRC than not given their systems.

AU Payroll - Timesheet - Option to 'Approve & Next' employee
In Payroll --> Timesheet --> entering hours for employees, there is no option to 'Approve & Next' employee, which would make entering hours easier. It would mean one doesn't have to keep going back to the main Timesheet menu when they are working through a roster of staff.

AU Payroll - Long Service Leave report to show start date
It would assist us if the Leave Accrued Report could also show the employee's start date. Long Service Leave is only applicable to staff from the 5 or 10 year mark for us in NSW but to ascertain whether staff are eligible for it is requiring external spreadsheets that have to be manually adjusted each month. Xero already has the functionality to enable this so it can't be hard to action.
