UK Payroll - Upload/attach employee files
Ability to attach relevant documents to employees within Xero Payroll (UK),

We understand how the recent capability released in AU would also be valuable to other regions workflows.
We're in the process of reviewing the full payroll experience for our UK customers, and this idea will be considered as part of that broader piece of work. While it isn’t on our immediate roadmap right now, it is formally on our radar as we plan future payroll updates.
We’ll share another update here when we have more news on our plans.

Xero Me - Add Unit option to Timesheets
Timesheets on xero me should have the option to enter units, not just hours

Xero Me | Timesheets - Ability to choose different earnings rate when using start and end times
Before we had start/stop times, employees were able to add different pay rates (ie Saturday Penalty Rate). It would be excellent if this option could be included with the start/stop time version in Xero Me.
151 votesHi team, thank you for showing your support in this idea. While this has been reviewed and looked into at present the work we are developing will not extend to start and end timesheets.
This is something we'll continue to consider closely as the team keep planning their roadmaps and we'll make sure to share if there are updates surrounding this, here.

Xero Me - Clock in and clock out on timesheets
Xero Me - Needs spot in App to input the Earnings Rate and Tracking Category for the employee. Needs a start/stop button for clocking in/out so that when the employee starts the day they simply press start and the app records the time started. When they press stop it records the stop time until the start time is pressed again. This can be used for breaks and for start and finish of the day - these can be edited if someone forgets. 81 votesHi everyone, thank you for your detailed feedback on a clock in/out functionality in Xero Me. We see how being able to clock in and out directly from Xero Me would improve accuracy for job tracking, while enabling employees to easily log start/finish times and capture breaks at the touch of a button.
As part of a wider project to improve timesheets in Xero, we’ve updated the status of this idea to Accepted.
While this status means the product team would like to develop this, it’s not currently on our roadmap and we don’t have a delivery timeframe. We will continue to consider your feedback as we plan future updates. Thanks for your patience and ongoing engagement.

AU Payroll - Leave requests for part time workers that dont work standard hours
When multiple days are requested the ability to adjust the hours for leave application so it matches the ordinary hours for particularly days.
226 votesHi everyone, thanks for your feedback and for sharing your experiences with leave requests for employees who work non-standard hours.
Later this year, we plan to release the first stage of Working Patterns in AU Payroll.
This will allow users to set a one-week work pattern for each employee, which will automatically be used for leave and public holiday calculations in the pay run.
This initial release will establish the foundation for supporting a broader range of working patterns in the future, including more complex or changing schedules.
We’re moving this idea to Accepted while we explore how leave requests could work for these employees. Please continue sharing your specific scenarios, as they’ll help inform how we develop this functionality.

NZ Payroll - Send link for easy onboarding of new employees
Send a link to on board new employees info ie TFN, bank accounts, super account and all personal particulars to get them ready for a pay run.
131 votesHey team, me again. Apologies, getting a little ahead of ourselves with the status of this idea.
I can confirm that self onboarding of new employees is live for Xero Payroll in AU, however this feature does not extend to NZ organisations right now.
This will be something we continue to consider as we keep developing Payroll for NZ and I'll share any further updates with you all here. Thanks
