Allow user access to Sales and Purchases only without having to have standard access
This will be beneficial where staff need to access sales for invoicing and purchases for bills but employers dont want them to have access to bank or other areas. Currently you can have Purchases OR Sales, but you can't have both.
1 voteHi Chrissy! Did you know it's already possible to do this in Xero?
You can give a user the Invoice only Approve and Pay (sales and purchases). An invoice only user with the approve and pay (sales and purchase) permission has access to invoices, bills, credit notes, quotes and purchase orders. You can see more about this here.😊

Xero HQ - Ability for practice staff to create client groups
Some of our practice staff have permissions to create clients and also were ableto create client groups for the new client to be added to. With the new Xero Centralisation, those staff can no longer create client groups, or add clients to a group. To allow this we would have to increase their permissions to Practice Administrator. This new required level of access is over the top, just to allow someone to create a client group.
1 voteHi! Following feedback from our partners, it is now possible for standard users to edit, create, and delete groups in the new partner experience. Thanks for sharing your idea, and letting us know the changes that matter most for you.

Bank Reconciliation - Add setting to disable 'Suggest previous entries'
Please add the ability to switch off the suggested reconciliation entries for individual users or for all users if easier. It is a setting that shows an OK button that looks a lot like the OK for rules and other matches, and it makes users trigger happy with the OK, which leads to reconciliation account coding errors.
3 votesHi Pamela, thanks for your feedback on bank reconciliation settings. It’s helpful to understand your concerns about suggested entries and the OK button during reconciliation.
To clarify what’s currently available: Xero generates suggestions in a few different ways by trying to match an existing transaction, checking your bank rules, using memory from similar reconciled transactions, or, if none of those apply, making a prediction using machine learning.
If you don’t want Xero to provide memory-based suggestions or predictions, you can turn these off by scrolling to the bottom of the Reconcile tab and clearing the “Suggest previous entries” checkbox.
You can also turn off bank rule suggestions by going to Accounting > Bank Rules > Delete the relevant bank rules.
These options remove the automatic suggestions that appear with an OK button.
Our team has reviewed your idea, and since there are ways to achieve what’s being asked within Xero,…
