  1. Update User roles to apply to Files

    Right now we can restrict access to certain parts of Xero for users who only need access to AP, AR, read only etc. But our understanding is that these users still can view Files. Can the manage users screen include settings tha restrict which users can see documents in the Files? That would allow our clients to add additional users without concern about exposing their team to information they are not privy to.

    Hi Jessica, right now users with Sales or Purchase roles only have limited access to Files. For example they can attach files to transactions they have access to and attach and view files from the files inbox that other users have uploaded. However as soon as a file is shifted to a folder (out of the inbox) these users will not be able to view and select these files on transactions.
