   Attach engagement letters to quotes and collect electronic signatures

   It would be helpful to attach an engagement letter when sending a quote to a new client in Xero, with the option for the client to electronically sign the letter as part of accepting the quote.

   For accounting practices, accepting a quote and signing an engagement letter are both essential steps in onboarding a new client. Bringing these steps together would simplify the process for both the practice and the client.

   Ideally, this feature would allow us to:

   Attach an engagement letter to a quote and mark it as requiring a signature.

   Let clients review the quote and sign the engagement letter through the same link.

   Track quote acceptance and engagement letter signing separately.

   Automatically save the signed document against the client’s record and send a copy to both parties.

   Maintain an audit trail showing who signed and when.

   This would reduce administrative work, avoid separate emails and signing platforms, and help ensure the agreed scope, fees and engagement terms are documented before work begins.
