Allow typing/searching for tracking categories instead of just scrolling the dropdown list
Please add the ability to type into the tracking category fields to auto-suggest or filter options, rather than forcing users to scroll through a long dropdown menu.
Currently, if a business has numerous tracking categories or options, users have to manually scroll through a massive list every time they enter a line item on an invoice or bill. This is incredibly time-consuming and slows down data entry significantly.
Standard accounting workflows require speed. Adding a "type-to-search" or auto-complete functionality to the tracking category fields (similar to how the "Account" or "Item" fields work) would drastically improve efficiency and the overall user experience.
Hi Isabel, giving this a quick test I'd like to confirm this is already possible. From the tracking field of an invoice or bill you can simply start typing which will filter the results of your tracking options. From here you simply select the relevant option.
